Chapter 13 Staying at Her Best Friend’s House
Yannick scolded, "Are you going to cut ties with us for this car?"

Hearing that, Ysabella was at a loss for words. Biting her lips, she forced back her tears. Although she hated Yvan and was unhappy with her parents' orders, she was still a good daughter through and through.

To be honest, she couldn't abandon her family for the sake of a car. Now that her mother was kneeling before her and her father was forcing her to give Yvan the car, she couldn't fight against them. In the end, she decided to give in.

"Fine! Fine! I'll give him the car!" Ysabella threw away the suitcases and pulled Tyrone away. Both of them wore dark expressions, feeling extremely aggrieved as they left empty-handed.

"Let me know once you find a new place. I'll send the suitcases over for you!" Yannick was on cloud nine.

"Fuck! That bastard! How could he treat me like that? I barely got to drive it, but they already took the car away! Why did this happen? I'm so mad!"

Ysabella cursed all the way. Then she glanced at an innocent-looking Tyrone and started venting her anger out on him. "I'd finally changed my impression of you, but you're still a useless fool after all. How could you stay silent while I got bullied?"

Tyrone felt helpless, thinking about how Ysabella had decided to give in just as he'd been about to take action. She was the one who'd pulled him away, so what could he say? Despite this, Tyrone didn't utter a word, conscious of his current status and situation. Therefore, he remained silent and let Ysabella rant for as long as she wished.

After a long scolding, Ysabella finally realized Tyrone was innocent in this matter. She stopped and pulled out her phone to make a call. Once the call was connected, she said sweetly, "Baby."

The topic of their conversation was extreme, and Ysabella even wanted to move into that person's house. Hearing her words made Tyrone's face turn green. Shocked, he thought, "Is she going to cuckold me?"

When Ysabella ended the call, Tyrone was just about to ask who she'd been talking to. However, she showed him the contact before he had a chance to speak. It was her best friend, Vania.

"Look at your jealous face. Do you think I'm such a loose woman?"

Tyrone waved his hand before scratching his head awkwardly. "No, of course not! I just wanted to ask if we should get a cab."

Ysabella was too tired to argue and hailed a cab. Once they got in, she told the driver the address. Half an hour later, they reached their destination, where they were welcomed by a pretty lady in a red silk nightgown. However, she pouted in disgust upon seeing Tyrone following behind Ysabella.

"Tsk! I heard you really sold 100 housing units and even resigned. Fool! Even if you decided to resign, you should've at least gotten all the benefits first. How could you let that pervert Timothy profit off you?"

Hearing that, Tyrone only smiled instead of getting mad. They had known each other since college, so he was familiar with her temper. Like Ysablle, Vania had a vicious tongue but a soft heart. Most importantly, she was kind to Ysabella.

"Baby, that's enough. Stop scolding him." As Ysabella spoke, she gave Tyrone a kick. "Go and prepare dinner. All I had tonight was a belly full of anger!"

"Okay." Tyrone immediately went to the kitchen. At the same time, Ysabella started complaining to Vania about what had happened.

Soon, Tyrone served them a table full of hearty dishes as a midnight snack.

He was just about to ask where he and Ysabella should sleep when Vania beat him to it. With an air of superiority as the owner of the house, she announced, "You can sleep by yourself in the room near the entrance. Ysabella will share a room with me."

"Oh, okay."

"What? Don't you have anything to say?" Vania raised her brow in question. Then she glanced at his crotch area, wondering if something was wrong.

"Nope." Tyrone shook his head. "Even if I share a room with Ysabella, I can only sleep on the floor. If I sleep alone, I can have the bed and avoid having any wayward thoughts. Why not take this chance?"

Vania was taken aback before laughing out of sheer disbelief. "Oh, my! I can't take it anymore. I'm going to die from laughing! Y—Ysabella, I finally understand why you're still married to him. It turns out this fool is funny!"

"Get out of here!" Ysbella shouted, feeling ashamed. She threw the pillow at Tyrone, who swiftly dodged it. After that, he cleaned the dishes before escaping to his room.
