All of them, beat up, Azazel included, gathered around the table after waking up midday.
They stared at each other awkwardly, and nobody said a thing. Noticing how each and every one of them looked like if they weren’t flying drones, but drinking senseless at some tavern last night.
Andrey broke the silence, “I think we would best do something about our condition faster, because it sucks to see you all looking like this.”
Nobody moved or breathed at that moment. They all had the same thing on their minds, though.
Just a minute later, all of them launched their drones and explored the air.
“Hey, let’s make a race. Try and catch me, guys!” Illien yelled.
“Personal?” Niko asked in a deep voice.“Indeed. It’s about an invasion.” Azazel replied.“I may sound rude, but please, do tell me what exactly do you refer to as personal? What do you really know about my personal life? I don’t recall telling you much.”Azazel lifted his right hand before his face and moved his fingers around slowly, then put his palm on his face and leaned on the table, looking at Niko.“I wouldn’t be giving you this offer if I hadn’t studied you through.”“I’m curious what you found out then?”“The moment I found out you come from Fronthornis, I was really intereste
Although the idea of taking over a country by force with incredibly powerful mages sounded easy, it wasn’t all that simple, unfortunately.King Beleth had to know that his army was about to strike. Azazel didn’t think there would be any issue with this, but he still had to report of this aggressive move against Wartair.Aluca, Niko, Illien, Azazel, Dea’n’ha, and Andrey, all gathered in King Beleth Gehenalis’ throne room, expecting his arrival.Unlike previous times, Beleth didn’t come riding the pale white horse Phaethon. Instead, he warped from a sudden explosion of fire on his throne. This mighty and powerful appearance struck respect and fear. Aluca and Niko were fascinated by the incredible performance. The wind was blowing gently. Her hair played with the most beautiful face in the world, and that was her own. Andrey gazed into her eyes that sparkled in different colours, and she sank deep into his. The dark color of his eyes absorbed her very conscience, sinking in as if she was being pulled by a mysterious magical power.Though it felt that way, it wasn't, and she knew that it was not magic that made her feel this way. Her dizzy head was spun around by nothing else but her strong feelings for him."I could stare at you for a lifetime, you know." Andrey smiled, without moving his eyes of hers."Me too." she spoke, her angelic voice ringing out like a lullaby written down specially for Andrey to hear."Just two words."Makiya 181. “Umm… Guys?” Dea’n’ha finally spoke up.Andrey immediately turned towards her and waited to hear her out, but she wanted to get everybody’s attention first.“What is it?” Azazel asked, feeling that the sorceress is about to say something worth hearing.“I felt where it came from.” She said.Shock.Everyone was stunned that Dea’n’ha could trace that which Azazel, Andrey, and even Caleuche - the existence which walks the fine line between the world of the living and the dead.“What do you mean, you felt it?” Caleuche asked, unable to believe this. His face took on the expression of somebody who is s
“Caleuche, you know what to do.” Azazel spoke to the specter before him and jumped on the island where the others awaited him.“Yes, master.” The ghost bowed, and the ship sailed away, disappearing with the sound of its crew feasting. After Azazel joined the others, Aluca asked, “Are you sure the ship will be on the other side of this island when we’re done? I mean, I don’t see the logic…”“I am certain.” The Demon replied confidently.“Don’t worry, this ship can do miracles!” Niko patted Aluca’s shoulder.“Okay, guys. Let’s go!” Andrey looked towards the horizon.“We
“Aluca!” Niko screamed at Aluca, seeing that he was the only one next to him.“Niko!” Aluca replied, thinking the same thing. They looked around and saw the two random people before them, “WHO ARE THEY, NIKO!? WHERE DID THE OTHERS GO!??!”“Calm down, man. We’re going to handle this. It seems we have some opponents to take care of.” Niko gently rubbed his talismans.“Oh, my god! We’re going to fight them by ourselves!?” Aluca panicked.“Don’t worry. We can handle this.” Niko whispered, “Remember they said everyone in Wartair is weak, right?”“Oh, yeah! Right. I remember now.
At that moment Niko removed his fake devastated expression and smiled satisfyingly.“Of course, I am a man of honor and knowledge, therefore I don’t usually lie. And for once I was being honest, I really do have unlimited range.”At that moment, Niko grabbed a rock from the ground and threw it slightly in the air. “Link Overload”, he revealed the name of his talisman’s ultimate ability and the stone switched places with Aluca.“I don’t know what the heck happened, but I was entangled in my own chains just now!” the Prince said with his silvery voice.“Ah, you… so the person who took that hit was… Elpon!” Boozai yelled his name at the cloud of dust from the explosion.
As Dea’n’ha and Andrey swiftly rotated their backs, Sohei was surprised that his attack was countered by a young man who would raise his hand against an elder and even insult him with the phrase, “Surprise, weak-shit!”Andrey buffed his body up and his attack was so strong that it literally sent Sohei back flying and rolling on the ground until he finally recovered after about ten backflips.Eclipse didn’t react to how his teammate was thrown meters away by a single punch. He wasn’t the slightest bothered.Instead, his crescent-shaped eyes focused on Dea’n’ha.She noticed the strange shapes of his iris and thought it would be best if she didn’t look him in the eyes.Telepa
