It was less than a few kilometers out of the east side of East-City where the bandit crew led Andrey and Amryr into a cave.
Just a few meters after entering it, there were strange symbols drawn on the very cave, signaling that it was bandit territory.
Andrey only observed and moved along. He didn’t feel threatened by those weaklings. Amryr observed everything with huge interest, as he had never been at such a place before. He knew there were caves, but never really got inside one.
After embracing the coldness that a cave had to offer inside it, the group was met by a few bandits who stood guard.
They recognized the bruises on Scar - the bandit who first raised a hand against Andrey. The guards let the group pass and enter deeper into the cave.
I'm f-ing hyped, don't know about you guys :D Can't wait for the next chapter! (Makes it sound like I'm not the one writing it, haha. Though, honestly, yeah. It feels like I'm watching a series myself, even though I am the one who decides the outcome. Or am I? It's kind of weird being an author lol)
I see. So he is more than meets the eye… But that’s not really a surprise. I expected this.It seems he doesn’t know that my mana is halved, or at least not yet. Perhaps he might think I am conceiving it.Onyx squeezed Andrey’s hand considerably hard and pulled it to the side in an attempt to dis-balance him. The leader’s right hand was already flying towards his opponent’s stomach, but as he thought the hit would be successful, Andrey had already a plan behind this. From the palm, Andrey released a burst of mana that would serve as the recoil from when you fire a gun. This concluded with a powerful slap across Onyx’s face. As for the incoming attack towards the black-mage’s stomach, it was hi
‘Oh no, that’s the same ability he used on Devil to defe-’ Onyx realized as Andrey’s arm reached his head, but it was too late. The last thing he saw was the dragon marking on his opponent’s palm. A white flash filled Onyx’s eyes, and just a second later, he could see Andrey walking to him. The black dressed mage came out of the darkness and spoke, “This world. The main event is a game. A game of balance. You give, you take. You take, you give. Or something gets taken from you. These are the fundamentals of the game’s rules.” “Why… are you saying this to me?” Onyx asked. “This is a world I created especially for you. Feast your eyes upon it.” Andrey replied. They shifted to Sanctuary. The location seemed bigger. It was filled with different magical orn
Bursts of slashing flames threw bodies in the air, most of them burned to a crisp. Onyx couldn’t control his powers at that point. They consumed him, and lucky is what he was, that the blades drained out the mana directly as he generated any to his arms. Otherwise, he would have self-destroyed.A double-edged blade. That’s what mana and magic is, although the two swords - Red Flame and Stormwind - were the perfect remedy for this. What would have been Onyx’s demise was now the peak of his power and battle capabilities.Fifteen minutes later, the smell of burned flesh had filled the cave. Onyx was breathing heavily as nobody was charging at him anymore. Nobody was left to do so.Only Z watched from a distance. /the letters written in italic in this chapter will be the first person perspective of Amryr/ It took a while, really. Lord Red Eye empowered almost all members of the organisation. Well, the ones that survived, that is. Most failed the initial intelligence test. Those who failed it simply died. Their bodies turned to ashes or they bursted. Some were also crushed by this epic power that Lord Red Eye has that manipulates people’s bodies. I don’t know how he does it, but it is definitely a power one would lust to have. Those who lived through the test and got empowered are the official and only members of Red Eye Organization.Makiya 210. The Diary
Amryr had already spent a few days in the Migigaia Wastelands. Still completely confident in his survival, he spent a lot of time writing in his diary. He would sometimes go back a few pages to read a story he had already written, or he would write a story he had forgotten to write down.“Eh… Seriously?” The black-and-white-haired boy hissed, eyes looking at his pen with annoyance, “Did you really stop working now?! In the middle of the desert!?”He threw it angrily forward. His strength was so great that his eyes couldn’t track where it went.“Well, fuck. Now I completely failed.” he snapped his finger nervously, then smiled as if the best moment of his life had happened, “Actually this is a great motivation! I can&
“You said you used these chains to immobilize your demons. You survived through the ritual… Old man. Where are these demons of yours?” Amryr’s voice spoke lowly.“I…” As the man was about to reply, although with visible hesitance, the black-and-white-haired boy interrupted him,“Where is your family, Old man?”The Old man’s left eye ticked. The painful answer that his mind automatically generated was the reason behind his now narrowed eyebrows and deep sigh.Amryr then continued, “The black magical ritual wasn’t caused by the virus, was it?”Old man breathed in deeply and spoke, “You are quite more than what meets the eye, boy. I start to be
Darkness. That’s what they needed to find demons. A demon would never stand in the light of day. Therefore, when night came, it was the best time to hunt demons. ‘No change of outfit. No talismans or items to grant him additional power or abilities. Confident in each step. Why? I don’t get it. Was I deceived? Nah… not a chance. More likely, he probably lacks knowledge. He doesn’t know how to save them. Maybe he will try to chain them down again? Hahahah. Try and talk the demons out of them? Oh my, I shouldn’t have such hilarious thoughts in my head. I might accidentally spoil my serious face.’ Amryr thought, with an uncontrolled smirk on his face. “What seems to have entertained you so much, my boy?” Gaoth asked. ‘Oh fuck. Gotta think of something fast.’ Amryr thought as his eyes went from co
As intimidating the young black-and-white-haired boy seemed, the demons weren’t bothered by this half-their-size mage. The Walker’s blade slashed at Amryr, leaving a red trail behind it.To the demon’s surprise, the boy was already in front of his body, dodging the attack. While this happened in the fraction of a second, another second was all it took for a massive slapping sound to resonate along the tunnel.Amryr’s palm went through the demon’s face, slapping him so powerfully, that the arcane power caused the demon to lose its left cheek completely.Immediately, the demon tried to recover and made a few instinctive steps back.“This is
