Bursts of slashing flames threw bodies in the air, most of them burned to a crisp. Onyx couldn’t control his powers at that point. They consumed him, and lucky is what he was, that the blades drained out the mana directly as he generated any to his arms. Otherwise, he would have self-destroyed.
A double-edged blade. That’s what mana and magic is, although the two swords - Red Flame and Stormwind - were the perfect remedy for this.
What would have been Onyx’s demise was now the peak of his power and battle capabilities.
Fifteen minutes later, the smell of burned flesh had filled the cave. Onyx was breathing heavily as nobody was charging at him anymore. Nobody was left to do so.
