“You said you used these chains to immobilize your demons. You survived through the ritual… Old man. Where are these demons of yours?” Amryr’s voice spoke lowly.
“I…” As the man was about to reply, although with visible hesitance, the black-and-white-haired boy interrupted him,
“Where is your family, Old man?”
The Old man’s left eye ticked. The painful answer that his mind automatically generated was the reason behind his now narrowed eyebrows and deep sigh.
Amryr then continued, “The black magical ritual wasn’t caused by the virus, was it?”
Old man breathed in deeply and spoke, “You are quite more than what meets the eye, boy. I start to be

You’re not a genius! No wait, you ARE! Geniusly stupid! Hahah!” Gaoth laughed his lungs out. Gothanir, Gaoth’s son, stepped forward and spoke, “Father, let me deal with this punk myself.” The son had a ripped body. Very athletic shape that was revealed from his demonic outfit. A black sleeveless jacket, with his abs and chest visible. Spiky black hair and red eyes sticking out from the purple skin. Gaoth’s right arm extended forward, his wrist rela

“So this is what happens when the virus unlocks someone’s potential and he doesn’t die from it. Such a pity that you wouldn’t join the demon cult. You definitely would have been on par with me as a demon, even though you would have been half-human.” Gaoth spoke, as he grabbed the hilt of his demonic sword and pulled it out of the ground, slashing to the side. Amryr had a few tears run down his cheek, but his half-white pupils gazed upon the demon as he was his prey, “You’ve got it bad, Old man. You don’t even need to turn me into a demon for me to be on par with you. I already am far stronger than you.” Gaoth blinked a few times, his menacing figure of power faced the black-and-white mana wielder, as winds created by the boy’s sheer presence were pushing back the dust around them, “I must confess, capturing you into a nightmarish

It didn’t take long before Amryr reached the exit of the cave. It was as he speculated - the demon lair was closer to the city rather than to the villages because it would be at a tactical advantage this way. It wasn’t hard to figure this out. A city meant more people, more goods, and since the tunnels and cave were all shaped by the demon’s magic, then it all made sense. Unless, of course, the demon was stupid. But that didn’t seem to be the case. “Old man, it’s quite the view you have here. If I were you, I’d make my throne at this exact place and gaze into the horizon at all times.” Amryr spoke to the demon’s core inside his stomach, as he glared at the beautiful scenery before him. On his left, a huge lake surrounded by the mountains. Then the greener end of the

The dark blue suit and the confidence he emitted delivered the impression he was like a royal. Finally, they reached the hotel. It was huge. A restaurant and next to it, a location with smaller tables, implied that it was a separate thing - a dedicated place for coffee and tea, maybe? They stopped walking after walking in through the brown painted hotel

261. The game begins
Conjured by nothingness in the air, five cards appeared, twice the size of a human. The terrain reshaped and all of a sudden, it appeared that Andrey was standing in a theater. Looking around, he could see many empty seats, but more importantly, the scene was incredibly vast. The things that were easily seen were a well in the middle, a tower next to it, a few chairs along with a wooden table. They seemed rather medieval and old, but that seemed to be the idea behind the whole game. Playing a medieval role in a theatrical scenery. “We already started!? How about you tell me what the game is about first, eh!?” Andrey shouted, his eyebrows narrowed due to his annoyance. Golehanei’s voice replied to him with a cold tone. “Be not so rushful, Andrey Makiya… de

Besides the sound of an incoming wind torrent, Andrey appeared like a black thunder, piercing through the clouds, right after jumping off from the conjured black-and-white tower. After restoring his vision past the clouds, he immediately navigated at the ancient human, who was patiently waiting in his cradle. Swinging just slightly. A massive barrage of a hundred walls of rock erupted from the ground, creating a mighty shielding to protect Golehanei from the incoming battle-mage. The rumbling noise in addition with the ancient being’s impatience slowly arising worked as proof that Andrey had been passing through his defense effortlessly. A sword landed right next to the ancient’s throat. Stopped not by Andrey’s will, but instead by the incredibly precise and strong grip of Golehanei’s finger tips.

Andrey put on a little smile in an attempt to mock the man, who claimed to be greater than them. “Does the superior being deal with conflicts with force or with wisdom? Time we found out, I say.” He expected his taunting words to provoke the being, and at least see an eyebrow get narrowed, but instead Golehanei spoke calmly. “Young Andrey Makiya, when wisdom finds its end, the forces of power take over. Such would seem to be the case, descendant.” A fist coming straight at Andrey’s face was immediately countered as the red-eyed battle-mage deflected the incoming knuckles by punching his opponent’s arm in the triceps with an upper-cut. Although unexpected, suddenly Golehanei forced his arm downwards, overpowering the fist, in an attempt to strike Andrey’s head, as if to slash it with a blade.

“Dea’n’ha!” Andrey startled at the sorceress. “Y-yes!” She replied in a frail voice. “Can you communicate with this golden-dressed freak!?” Dea’n’ha lowered her head and spoke. “I can only convert information with my Abyssal Crack magic… I can’t really drain the language abilities out of it. It’s like attaining something from the void.” “Tsk.” Andrey clicked his tongue and looked at the buffed, half-naked man, who had only black pants, golden belt, and a golden collar that went all the way from his neck to covering half his back and chest. The ancient human had a golden ring on his left pointing finger, and dark brown leather bracelets with gold imbued in them on both his wrists.
