The blue light in Hansen’s hand swirled slowly above the victim’s body. A burnt scent began to rise as the symbol on the man's chest reacted—violently trembling, then shrinking, as if terrified by the power about to erase it.

But before Hansen could complete his technique, the door burst open with force. An elderly man in an expensive suit and piercing gaze entered with authoritative steps.

“Delia, stop. What are you doing with this random young man?”

Hansen slowly lowered his hand, staring at the man without a word.

Delia turned around, her face unchanged—cold and calm.

“Uncle, he has a name. Hansen. Directly recommended by Mr. Laotaro,” Delia said.

“Pfft, just a youngster,” the uncle scoffed, clapping his hands twice. “Look who I brought. He’s a Geomancy Expert who has aided noble families in seven countries. Compared to this boy, he’s more than enough.”

Heavy footsteps echoed into the room. A middle-aged man in a brow

  • Man From Another Wold   CHAPTER 1: AWAKENING IN A STRANGE WORLD

His head felt heavy, his thoughts still hazy as his eyelids slowly opened. The ceiling light was blinding, making him blink a few times before realizing he was lying in an unfamiliar place. A luxurious hotel room, a soft bed, and... a young woman sleeping beside him. His eyes narrowed. Who was she? His heartbeat quickened, not because of the woman’s presence, but because he suddenly realized—this wasn’t his body! He tried to recall… and then the memories came crashing down like a storm. He was Harold, the supreme martial arts master in the cultivation world. He had conquered countless sects, mastered the highest techniques, and became a living legend. But glory always attracted hatred. The person he trusted the most… his own fiancée… had stabbed him in the back. The woman he protected and empowered had handed him over to his enemies. Yet, the most painful part wasn’t her betrayal—it was the fact that his own younger brother was the mastermind behind it all. "I won’t let you live

His eyes scanned the room, and he quickly realized—Lauren was gone.He didn't think much of it, but his gaze momentarily caught a faint red stain left on the bed.He stared at it briefly, then took a short breath. No particular emotion surfaced within him.In his past life, before his engagement, he had been with many women. As the supreme martial arts master, women had flocked to him like moths to a flame. They admired him, idolized him, and many willingly gave themselves to him. In his old world, such relationships were commonplace. However, in this world, it seemed different norms applied. Lauren had clearly been panicked and shocked earlier. Perhaps, for a girl like her, last night was not something ordinary. But that wasn’t his concern.Sitting at the edge of the bed, he gazed out through the large window overlooking the cit

The conversation between Hansen and the old man attracted the attention of many people around. Some stopped to watch, while others sneered and whispered among themselves."Young people these days... selling charms? Who would believe that?""Right, this is the age of technology, not magic!"Despite the ridicule, one person stood out from the rest.An elderly man sat in a wheelchair, observing Hansen with a sharp gaze. His body appeared weak, but his eyes exuded authority. Beside him stood a graceful young woman. She had long, flowing hair, a gentle face, and clear eyes—so beautiful that she caught the attention of many passersby. The old man finally spoke."Young man," his voice was deep and commanding, "you say your charm can cure diseases?"Hansen turned and looked at the old man casually. "That's right."The people around them chuckled, but the old man remained unfazed. He raised his hand slightly, signaling his granddaughter to push his wheelchair closer to Hansen’s stall. The youn

Hansen was on his way home when Laotaro called.“Mr. Hansen. There’s someone who needs your help. Are you willing to assist?”“What kind of help?” Hansen asked.“Let the person explain it themselves. Where are you now?”Hansen glanced at the quiet night road, the city lights reflecting softly on his car window.“I’m on my way home. About ten more minutes to my apartment,” he answered calmly. On the other end, Laotaro’s voice sounded slightly tense. “In that case, I’ll send her to you. Her name is Delia. She’ll be waiting in the lobby. She’s not an ordinary person.”The call ended.Hansen frowned. He had never heard Laotaro speak that formally—it was as if he were suppressing something much deeper.A few minutes later, Hansen’s car arrived at his apartment building. He stepped out, handed the keys to the valet, and walked into the main lobby. There stood a young woman—elegant yet mysterious. Her

"Ferdinan, I should go home. There's nothing for me to do here anyway. Thanks for showing me the world," Hansen smiled at Ferdinan, then glanced at Laura. "Call me sometime. I'm looking forward to our next meeting."Hansen walked away from the crowd and the banquet that, truthfully, never needed his presence.Meanwhile, hidden in a corner on the second floor of the same building, Candra stared at his phone screen with a sinister grin. Beside him, Farel and Dion were plugging a small square device into a laptop."It's connected to the building's security system. We can manipulate the CCTV," Dion reported, his fingers dancing across the keyboard."Good," Candra replied flatly. "Hansen will exit through the basement parking. Make sure the cameras there only show a static image."Farel added, "We’ve already tagged Hansen’s car. Once he gets in, we’ll activate the signal jammer. He won’t be able to call for help."Candra looked at bot

A smile he once knew—genuine, warm, and a little mischievous."Still remember me, Han?"Ferdinan smiled in satisfaction, standing beside Hansen."Finally, you two meet again. It's been nearly three years, hasn't it?"Laura stood from her seat and reached for Hansen's hand."You... haven’t changed much. Still cold and mysterious."Hansen looked into her eyes."And you... you've grown up a lot."They sat together while Ferdinan gave them space. He looked at the two of them with a meaningful smile, then slowly stepped back, giving them time."When I saw you on stage earlier, I... was shocked," Laura said softly.
