Lauren stared at her phone for a long time. The screen had gone dark, but her thoughts were still trapped somewhere else.

A soft knock came from the door, followed by quiet footsteps entering without waiting for a response.

"My dear, what are you thinking about?"

Her mother's gentle voice startled Lauren from her reverie. She quickly turned her head.

"Ah, Mom! Why didn’t you knock first?"

Her mother simply smiled. "I did knock. But you didn’t answer. You seemed hypnotized by something."

Lauren looked down, feeling guilty. "I’m sorry... I just… have a lot on my mind."

Her mother walked over slowly and sat on the edge of the bed. "Is it about someone? A boy?"

Lauren stayed silent, her fingers playing with the edge of her phone. "I don’t know, Mom…"

Her mother studied her face. "Do you like someone?"

Lauren was quiet for a long time. Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears.

Her mother smiled softly. "Sometimes, love is frustrating. But it’s also beautiful."

Lauren let out a short, bitter la

His head felt heavy, his thoughts still hazy as his eyelids slowly opened. The ceiling light was blinding, making him blink a few times before realizing he was lying in an unfamiliar place. A luxurious hotel room, a soft bed, and... a young woman sleeping beside him. His eyes narrowed. Who was she? His heartbeat quickened, not because of the woman’s presence, but because he suddenly realized—this wasn’t his body! He tried to recall… and then the memories came crashing down like a storm. He was Harold, the supreme martial arts master in the cultivation world. He had conquered countless sects, mastered the highest techniques, and became a living legend. But glory always attracted hatred. The person he trusted the most… his own fiancée… had stabbed him in the back. The woman he protected and empowered had handed him over to his enemies. Yet, the most painful part wasn’t her betrayal—it was the fact that his own younger brother was the mastermind behind it all. "I won’t let you live

  • Man From Another Wold   CHAPTER 2: A NEW WORLD, A NEW LIFE

Hansen walked out of the bathroom calmly, dressed in the same clothes he had worn the night before. The air in the hotel room felt much quieter than earlier. His eyes scanned the room, and he quickly realized—Lauren was gone.He didn't think much of it, but his gaze momentarily caught a faint red stain left on the bed.He stared at it briefly, then took a short breath. No particular emotion surfaced within him.In his past life, before his engagement, he had been with many women. As the supreme martial arts master, women had flocked to him like moths to a flame. They admired him, idolized him, and many willingly gave themselves to him. In his old world, such relationships were commonplace. However, in this world, it seemed different norms applied. Lauren had clearly been panicked and shocked earlier. Perhaps, for a girl like her, last night was not something ordinary. But that wasn’t his concern.Sitting at the edge of the bed, he gazed out through the large window overlooking the cit

  • Man From Another Wold   CHAPTER 3: HEALING AN ILLNESS

The conversation between Hansen and the old man attracted the attention of many people around. Some stopped to watch, while others sneered and whispered among themselves."Young people these days... selling charms? Who would believe that?""Right, this is the age of technology, not magic!"Despite the ridicule, one person stood out from the rest.An elderly man sat in a wheelchair, observing Hansen with a sharp gaze. His body appeared weak, but his eyes exuded authority. Beside him stood a graceful young woman. She had long, flowing hair, a gentle face, and clear eyes—so beautiful that she caught the attention of many passersby. The old man finally spoke."Young man," his voice was deep and commanding, "you say your charm can cure diseases?"Hansen turned and looked at the old man casually. "That's right."The people around them chuckled, but the old man remained unfazed. He raised his hand slightly, signaling his granddaughter to push his wheelchair closer to Hansen’s stall. The youn

  • Man From Another Wold   CHAPTER 4: MEETING AT THE CAFE

Hansen stepped into an upscale café located in the heart of the city. The atmosphere inside was calm, with soft music accompanying the conversations of the patrons. The aroma of premium coffee blended with the scent of freshly toasted bread. In the corner of the room, a young man in a casual suit sat leisurely, one hand holding a cup of coffee while the other played with his phone. He was Ferdinan, the best friend of the original owner of Hansen’s body. Ferdinan looked up as he saw Hansen approach. His face lit up instantly. "Heh, you finally showed up! I thought you’d sleep all day after last night’s party." Hansen gave a faint smile. "I’m not that bad." He pulled out a chair and sat across from Ferdinan. Truthfully, he wasn’t particularly interested in this meeting, but based on the old Hansen’s memories, Ferdinan was a good person who had helped him in difficult times. For now, maintaining this friendship was beneficial. Ferdinan observed him closely. "Hmm… you seem different

Without warning, the five men lunged at Hansen. However, before the first punch could land, Hansen vanished from their sight."What?!" one of the thugs exclaimed. In an instant, Hansen reappeared behind him. With a light tap on the man’s shoulder—Bugh! The man staggered forward and fell to his knees, clutching his chest as if he had been struck by a sledgehammer. His breathing turned ragged, and his face paled."What just happened?!" another thug muttered, stepping back.Hansen remained calm, blowing out a puff of smoke before speaking. "I wasn’t in the mood for a fight. But you had to ruin my peaceful afternoon."Suddenly, one of the thugs swung a knife at him. Hansen casually sidestepped the attack, avoiding it effortlessly, then grabbed the man’s wrist.Crack!"Aaaargh!" the man screamed as his wrist twisted unnaturally, dislocating on the spot. The knife clattered to the ground. The four remaining thugs hesitated, their confidence shaken. They had expected an easy fight, but with

Hansen withdrew his hand from the girl's wrist, his eyes narrowing. A faint dark energy flowed within her body, slowly consuming her life force.Standing beside him, Mr. Laotaro watched with anticipation. "What do you mean by cursed?"Hansen crossed his arms. "There's a foreign force draining your daughter's life energy. This isn’t an ordinary illness—it’s some kind of curse placed upon her."Mr. Laotaro's expression turned serious. "Who could do such a thing?"Hansen shrugged. "There are many possibilities. Someone who holds a grudge against you, or an old enemy seeking revenge. I need more information before I can be sure."Mr. Laotaro sighed heavily and sat down on the sofa, looking grim. "I've sought help from the best doctors, shamans, even traditional healers. None of them could cure her."Hansen smirked slightly. "Of course not. They are just ordinary people, while this involves forces beyond their understanding."Mr. Laotaro's eyes filled with hope. "So… can you cure her?"Han

In a dimly lit room at the corner of the city, Candra sat in a chair with a grim expression. His sharp eyes stared at the kneeling, battered man before him. The man was trembling in fear, blood still dripping from the corner of his mouth from the beating he had taken from Hansen.Candra exhaled deeply, trying to calm his rage. He had spent a lot of money hiring this man, yet the results were embarrassing.“I paid you handsomely, and you return like this?” Candra's voice was cold, laced with a threatening tone. The man bowed his head, his voice trembling as he spoke. “I’m sorry, sir! We didn’t expect him to be that strong. We thought he was just an ordinary young man, but he… he’s like a monster!”“Monster?” Candra laughed cynically, but there was no humor in his voice. “Don’t joke. I know his background. • Chapter 51: CLASH OF FISTS

Hansen moved swiftly, relying on the strength he had honed over the years. He appeared behind his opponent."Tch, as I expected." The enemy remained calm and quickly hardened his body, allowing Hansen's punch to land on his back.Bang! A loud noise echoed. But instead of a body collapsing, a thin black shield absorbed Hansen’s punch with almost no impact. The defense rebounded the force, causing Hansen to leap backward. Two other hooded figures immediately attacked from the right and left. But with movements as fluid as water fused with lightning, Hansen spun in the air, kicking one into the wall and hurling a lightning spear at the other.ZRAKKK!!Thud! The spear pierced through the target's shoulder and stabbed into the metal floor beneath. The body jerked as a muffled cry escaped from under the hood.Yet the masked man simply observed, unmoving."You trained them, but they're no match for me," said Hansen, walking forward slowly, lightning crackling around his body."They weren’t m

  • Chapter 50: Lightning Between Sky and Light

SWOOSH!The flap of the winged creature shook the air, creating sharp gusts of wind that swept over the rooftops nearby. Roof tiles flew, and the sky above Uraya University seemed to tremble. Yet below, the people merely stopped, gazing upward in awe rather than panic."Man, the special effects are insane…""This must be some top-secret Hollywood production!""Look at that! The CGI looks real!"Comments echoed from the crowd. Some raised their phones, recording the battle that began to thunder across the sky. The blaring of car horns stuck in traffic on the main road became background noise, overwhelmed by the aura of lightning crawling from the body of a man standing atop an apartment building.Hansen stood tall, his figure like a lighthouse in the middle of a storm.Chelsea lay behind him, still protected by a gentle energy shield—nearly invisible, yet separating her from the chaos about to explode. The winged creature darted forward, jaws open and filled with fangs. Hansen turned,

  • Chapter 49: Shadows from the Sky

The sky above Uraya University was growing dark as the garden lights flickered on one by one. A peaceful atmosphere cloaked the campus grounds, yet behind the veil of calm, several hidden eyes began to stir. They were no longer just watching Hansen. They were starting… to target.Meanwhile, Hansen sat atop his apartment roof, staring at the stars that gradually emerged. In his hand was a cup of cold coffee long forgotten. His gaze was blank, but his mind was racing."I know this isn’t just some regular test..." he muttered. He brushed his left chest—a scar from his past world, from when he nearly lost his life in the lightning valley. The scar throbbed faintly, as if reacting to an energy that hadn’t completely dissipated since his battle with Dr. Ray.Suddenly, soft footsteps echoed behind him."Drinking coffee alone like some heartbroken guy," came a familiar voice.Chelsea stood at the rooftop entrance, wearing a hoodie and carrying a slice of chocolate cake.“Are you following me?

  • Chapter 48: An Experiment Walking Among Us

Chelsea noticed the sudden shift in Hansen's expression and followed his gaze toward Dr. Ray Arjuna, who was sitting at the table across from them."Why does it feel like... he's watching us?" she whispered, avoiding the man’s eyes.Hansen held his breath. This wasn’t a coincidence.Meanwhile, Dr. Ray Arjuna showed no signs of suspicion. He opened a book and began to read, yet his eyes never left Hansen—monitoring his every move as if he were part of a larger experiment."Probably just your imagination," Hansen replied calmly. "But still, we should stay cautious."****The Medical Faculty building at Uraya University dimmed as dusk fell. Orange light filtered through the library windows, casting long shadows across the tiled floor. What was once a peaceful atmosphere now held a quiet tension—unspoken, yet palpable.Hansen slowly closed his book. He could sense a subtle vibration from across the room—an unfamiliar energy tugging at his spiritual defenses. The source was clear: Dr. Ray

  • Chapter 47: Behind the Lab Coat and Syringes

The Faculty of Medicine building at Uraya University looked peaceful that morning. Sunlight bathed the wide courtyard filled with students in white coats, bustling toward their classes or laboratories. No one would have guessed that one of them—a man with slightly messy hair and a tired face—had just destroyed a secret underground organization's base the night before.Hansen, wearing a slightly wrinkled white lab coat, entered the Anatomy II classroom carrying a folder of notes with a stethoscope draped around his neck. There was nothing extraordinary about his appearance—and that’s exactly how he wanted it.“Bro, late again?” whispered Rian, his classmate and close friend, as he slid over to make room for Hansen.Hansen gave a small nod and a faint smile. “Traffic. Broken roads.”But the roads he had taken last night weren’t paved—they were dark corridors splattered with blood and streaks of lightning. The lecturer entered—a gray-haired man with a sharp gaze and a low voice that alwa

Smoke and dust still lingered heavily in the underground chamber. The sound of cracking walls and creaking metal echoed slowly with the passing time.Kira bit her lip behind the shadow of a half-destroyed weapon rack. Her eyes were locked on the tablet screen, which continued processing the data from the last collision.“Their power... it’s equivalent to a collision between two missiles.”A heavy, raspy voice broke the silence.“I... haven’t lost yet.”Thorax.Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but his body remained standing—though trembling. His left arm hung uselessly, bones broken, and part of his armor was blackened, melted by heat and lightning. But his gaze was not extinguished.A few meters in front of him, Hansen knelt with one hand bracing his body on the floor. His breath was ragged, parts of his clothing were scorched, and the lightning flowing through his body began to destabilize.Yet he managed a faint smile.“Not bad... for a half-machine.”Thorax took a slow

  • Chapter 45: The Arrival of Thorax

Heavy footsteps echoed from the corridor leading to the laboratory’s main chamber. The rhythm was steady, slow—yet each step seemed to compress the very air around it, making the remaining guards tense up instantly. From the dark corridor, a massive figure finally emerged.Thorax.Leader of the Western Black Tiger.Over two meters tall, his body was clad in gleaming black armor lined with glowing red veins that looked like molten magma. His hair was shaved close, and his face seemed carved from steel—expressionless. In his left hand, he held a black helmet resembling a horned tiger’s head. Two guards tried to speak, but their bodies trembled. Their fear wasn’t born from military authority—it was the fear born of reputation. He wasn’t just a crime syndicate leader. He was a former soldier from the living weapon project.Half-human. Half-experiment.Thorax stopped before the shattered doorway, broken earlier by Hansen’s burst of energy. His eyes scanned the wreckage, the fallen bodies,

  • Chapter 44: A Flash in the Darkness

The blue flash hadn’t fully faded when dust and alarms filled the room. The spiritual explosion from Hansen’s lightning summoning had severely damaged the security system. One by one, the light crystals went out, leaving flickers of fire from overloaded electrical panels. The first three guards collapsed, their suits emitting smoke—useless against the pure energy assault.Behind a one-way mirror, the head scientist—an older man with graying hair and eyes as sharp as needles—watched the monitor with growing alarm.“How did he break through?! That should be impossible without an assistive device!”The assistant beside him typed frantically, panic on her face. “Energy levels are rising… now beyond Foundation Stage threshold. It’s unstable… he’s channeling power from an external source!”“External?!” the scientist turned sharply. “What do you mean?!”“An external entity… something directly connected to the atmosphere! It’s like he’s drawing energy from the sky itself!”Meanwhile, amidst t
