Chapter 5: Audrey Castlevania

It was a sizzling morning, one of those mornings that people pray to wake up and see.

It was already a few minutes past nine in the morning, the day appeared very bright and beautiful but it appeared darker to Marcel who lay lifeless like a log of wood. "Is this heaven?' He asks himself as he tries to open his eyes. 'No it can't be, even God will reject me' He thought to himself. He was left alone to the eerie and ominous silence of a strange looking environment which really looked like a palace to him.

He forcefully opened his eyes and instantly he felt light and pain free. He cautiously and fearfully tried to raise his hand and to his surprise he raised it properly fine. He checked the other limbs but this time less careful and once again everything appeared fine. The only pain that he felt at this point in time was a strange pain that emerged from his head although it wasn't that much.

Relieved he wanted to get himself up but noticed that some hospital equipment was attached to his body. His bright mood changed immediately on realizing that his memory was quite vague. The last thing he remembered was being set free by the police officers.

Still on it a hot female who was dressed like a nurse entered. She was taken aback when she saw Marcel awake but she still found it necessary to put an easing smile on her face that really suggested the opposite of how she was feeling.

"Good morning master" The sexy nurse greeted as she genuflect.

Marcel wasn't sure if he was the one being directed but played along anyway.

"How are you doing sir?" She asked in a soft tone as she access Marcel's vital signs

"Fine, very fine" he replies as he raises his hands up.

"Where am I dear?" He asked while staring at the girl

"You're at Audrey Castlevania "

"Audrey Castleva…, castle what?"

She was about to respond when Dr Phil entered and in a flash of light he remembered him.

"Good morning my Lord" Dr Phil greets humbly with a genuine smile.

Flabbergasted, Marcel felt a sense of pride but the reason behind all these protocols so far have seemed to elude him.

"How're you doing sir?"

"Very fine" he replied as he got up from the bed after the medical equipment had been detached from his body.

On standing he stretched himself, and then he accidentally turned to a mirror and what he saw sent ripples of fear and uncertainty in him. Alas he was fully bearded and his body physique appeared very different. His once relative slim body is now a model-like type of body.

His biceps have increased tremendously while his abs have been magnified. He was literally every model's dream physique.

He was stunned as he watched the strange and awesome transformation. At this rate he doubted if anything was actually real. 'Is this some kind of Limbo or what?'. "For how long have I been unconscious?" He asked unconsciously as he admires his new self

"Over a week sir"

"A week!" He yells in astonishment. It all felt like yesterday to him. It also surprised him on the degree and rate of his recovery. Behind him were sophisticated equipment, equipment that the government will possibly think twice about before providing it for hospitals.

"Sir I know you have many questions but I suggest you take your breakfast and have a little rest then I will take you to my Sire who is patiently waiting for you" Dr Phil advised before taking his leave.

Marcel obeyed, he was served a light meal after which he had some rest.

An hour later Dr Phil appeared with two other guards, who then escorted Marcel to their grandmaster apartment.

On their way Marcel saw things that he thought that no single person could possibly possess. The interior of the house, he believed, should be in the wonders of the world. He had no doubt that the world's best architect is the mastermind behind such creative, artistic and aesthetic deposition of the mansion.

A view away from the building he could see nature at its best. The flowers were colorful and eye-catching enough to seduce a maiden. They were statues, they looked magnificent though he does not know who or what they represent. He swallowed hard when he saw the fountain, they were strangely luminated as they occasionally changes color, precisely rainbow colors.

Just within the compound were cars, unreal four wheeled engines. It dawned on him how much advanced the world's technology has gone. This bearer of such a car would probably make any obstinate being humble and meek. It is commanding and magnificent.

"Don't worry my lord very soon these cars will be nothing but just some random four toothed wheel" Dr Phil said as he pats his shoulder on seeing the boy's keen attention and awe on the cars.

Marcel smiled at this. 'He is bluffing, there is no way an air breathing man will underestimate the poignant and intimidating aura those cars possess, it is innate and inevitable ' he thought to himself as they continued their journey.

Along the hallway he saw portraits, iconic paints and most importantly, the indelible works of Leonardo da Vinci. For a lover of art it meant a lot to him, to witness such epic works. Just opposite him at the end of the hallway were family portraits. Pictures of individuals that have close resemblance with him were all over the hallway.

Finally they came to a halt on a door. Dr Phil knocked thrice in a gentle manner.

"Come in " a stony voice emanates from the inside

Marcel's heart was beating fast as curiosity and uncertainty engulfed him. 'Who could be the one inside? What if he is not actually the person that they hoped him to be?' They were millions of questions racing like wild horses in his mind.

Finally it is time to see the great Sire, the Grandmaster, the possessor of such edifice and opulent mansion
