Chapter 100

Hazel's eyes shut up immediately. Her voice started quivering. She immediately stood up and ran to Marcus, holding his hand.

“Marcus, please don't leave. I'm begging you. I'm sorry I was foolish. Please don't leave.”

Hazel couldn't speak properly at that moment; her heart was heavy, and she knew she had messed up. Marcus forced his hand, but Hazel managed to hold him tight.

“Please, I'm sorry.”

The look on Marcus face shows he was damn serious. Marcus utters his voice was bitter.

“I don't want your apologies because I won't forgive you for what you just did today. You have shown me you don't respect or trust me. I don't care anymore. When I'm gone, you can have a better life like your mother wanted.”

Marcus managed to force his hand from Hazel; he walked outside the house, and Hazel followed him from behind and tried to plead with Marcus.

“Marcus, let's discuss this. I'm sorry for what I did, please.”
