Ivy's gaze was fixed intently on Marilyn, her eyes scrutinizing every detail of her face.

Earlier, she couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but now she senses something is off, and this time it's so bad, even more so than her first encounter with her.

Marilyn's smile seemed too wide, her eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity.

Ivy's instincts were screaming warnings, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios. She doesn't seem to like anything about Ivy the way she is staring at her, sometimes she would start wondering if she sees her mind because it's not ordinary for a little child to be this angry towards her it's becoming something else.

However, she deleted the thought from her head that, if she liked it or not, her father would be hers today.

Marilyn and the waiter stopped in front of Marcus, her face still beaming with a smile as she calmed down.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting, Mr. Marcus. I really wanted to give you the best; that was why I took my time to prepare
