Chapter 3

Everyone mouth open slightly in shock. They can't believe the madman's words. How can he say something this stupid and demand something ridiculously crazy? He is a drunkard! He is definitely under the influence of alcohol.

“You are a bastard!”

Hazel's face was asking plenty of questions; she knew what Marcus just said: it wasn't possible.

Marcus wants to gamble if truly he's the lost heir; he would like to take the risk now knowing they are going to force him to divorce Hazel anyway, which he will do for Ivy to have a better life; she deserves the best.

Lady Charlotte finally regained herself after thinking about something else. Since the bastard refused to divorce Hazel even when he was sacked this morning, she sees this as a perfect opportunity to get him out.

“And if you can't, you will divorce Hazel immediately and leave this family.”

Everybody's face brightens up hearing Lady Charlotte's words; she is undeniably the tigress of this family. The perfect way to kick this bastard out

“Mom, you can't do that; Marcus isn't thinking straight.”

Lady Charlotte frowns upon hearing Hazel's words.

“Then tell him to shut his mouth; this is not a place to make empty demands and promises; if you can't get the 30 percent contract before 24 hours, he should get a divorce!”

“Yes, Grandma is right. How dare he rant nonsense without thinking of the consequences?”

Marcus stands suddenly.

“Then it's a deal, I suppose.” Everybody's eyes moved to him in a puzzled state.

“Hazel will get you the contract within 24 hours. Prepare the share transfer documents before then; we will be signing them soon.”

“Is Marcus mad?”

“Maybe he has gone insane.”

They looked at each other with the same expression, completely confused. Brother Jacob, who works for San Yellow Company, managed to secure them five percent, let alone a jobless man like Marcus boasting thirty percent. He is a madman.

“Deal!”

Lady Charlotte sounded confident. With Marcus gone, Hazel can get married to those young masters who are interested in her, and with that, they can stand their ground in Summerville again. Marcus and Hazel go inside their room; she immediately blocks him, and she has a face that demands a good explanation.

“What was the meaning of what you just did? Why would you demand and agree to such a thing?”

“I have a friend who works there; “you must be kidding right, 30 percent is huge; you think that friend of yours can do that?” Marcus placed his hands on her shoulder.

“I trust this friend of mine; he can do it.”

Hazel becomes more doubtful; Marcus is talking like his friend is the CEO of San Yellow Company. Marcus collected the other half of his necklace.

“I will see you later. I want to go see that friend of mine.”

“Okay, I will be waiting for you here.”

Hazel nods. Marcus secretly called the butler. In a while, Marcus was picked up by a luxurious black car, which was noticed by Wesley.

Marcus handed over the other half of the necklace the the butler the man put the necklaces together, they turned into a key right away. Marcus raised an eyebrow on his forehead when he saw that. Could it be that these men were telling the truth? His heart raced as he thought about the possibility of him being the son of a trillionaire.

Marcus follows him from behind. “This way, young master.”

When they get to the other room, the man shuts the door again right away. There is a big box on the table that looks like it's locked, and there are several buttons on the top of the box. The man carefully clicked the button after taking a brief look at the number written on the key. When he was done, the middle of the box made a hole for the key, which he then put inside, and the box opened.

“Young master, this box has things from your dad's businesses in this city and other cities, and even in the capital.”

When he opens the box, it's full of documents.

“Look at this, young master. Other people are running these businesses, including some that I run, but you are the real owner.” Marcus moves more slowly towards the box. He is scared that this might be true; the thought of it scares him a lot. When he got to the box, his heart skipped a beat. The man suddenly utters something.

“A strange illness killed Sir Hamilton. You were taken by people who wanted to get money from Sir Hamilton, but after a hot chase from the Hamilton family guardians, the kidnappers lost you, they told us where to look, but we couldn't find you there. That's how we lost you. You were only three years old at the time.”

Marcus looks at the man in his 40s.

“I was taken by an old woman who is now late. She was so nice to me, so I didn't bother to find my root after she told me she wasn't my real parents.”

“Don't worry, young master. What matters most is that you're back now.”

“What's your name?”

“My Lord, I'm Robert Winston. Sorry, I didn't introduce myself earlier.”

He bowed 90 degrees and went on.

“I'm the butler for the Hamilton family. I'll help you through the process of becoming a god, and then I'll be done with my job.”

The first document he saw was from the San Yellow Company. Had just started a massive contract in Summerville. That is the same company that just canceled the Hudson family contract. Who would have thought that he owned Sam Yellow Company? Marcus looks over all the company's documents. He put the ones that are in the city on the right side because his father runs six big companies in this city. The biggest company in Summerville is worth over a 500 billion dollars, and in the capital, some are worth over a trillion dollars. Marcus sees this as the perfect opportunity to make Hazel the only Pillar in the Huston family. She has suffered a lot just because of him. It's now time for her and Ivy to have a better life. At that moment, tears dropped from his eyes. He uses his hand to wipe his eyes and utters

“I want you to cancel the deal that San Yellow Company made with all the families in Summerville concerning the Berry estate project.”

“It will be done right away, my Lord.”

“I will choose how it will be shared.”
