“It's alright Belle. Kevin is my lawyer and he's going to be the one representing me in my divorce case, that is happening today, and it is where I need to be first.”

“How about I drop you off at work and we go on to the court and we would meet you back at the office when we are done?" Marcus asked.

Deep down, he knew Belle would not choose to do this, instead she would want to follow him for support or whatever else she deemed appropriate, but she still needed to ask.
