Tilting her head, Serenity stared at Zachary as he met her gaze.

The couple looked into each other’s eyes.

A long while later, Zachary flicked her forehead. “Don’t look at me like that. Are you doubting the authenticity of my words? Serenity, we’ll go to bat for your sister so long as she’s in the right.”
