Martial Liquor God, Liuxian

FIRST ADVENTURE OUTSIDE

Passing through the force field, Liuxian landed on his feet happy to have entered. Looking around, Liuxian ran inside before anyone could see him entering his room. Closing the door, Liuxian sighed falling down to the ground after he realized that his roommates were still sleeping.

Heading to his bed, Liuxian fell on it tired. He needed his energy if he was going to continue his tasks soon.

Unfortunately, he slept more than he wanted. Tapping him endlessly, Sun Dan tried to wake Liuxian up but it seemed like he was in a deep trance. Looking at Tian Yin, Sun Dan nodded her head waiting as Tian Yin stepped forward. He was already in Qi Path Refinement 1. Using his magic, Tian Yin checked on Liuxian.

“What's wrong with him? Is he poisoned?” Sun Dan asked looking at Tian Yin.

“He is not. He is just unconscious." Tian Yin said.

" Unconscious? What does that mean?” Sun Dan asked looking at Tian Yin.

“He was drinking. He is unconscious from it. Get some water." Tian Yin said.

Meanwhile, Liuxian was in the other world. Crossing his legs on the platform there, he searched through all the books one by one. He had been given the task to find the Liquor of Resurrection in his school. It was one of the ten divine liquors. He had spent all night reading the books but it couldn't find anything about the location of the Liquor of Resurrection in his school.

Shaking his head, Liuxian laid down curling himself. Suddenly, he found his entire body wet. Standing up, Liuxian looked up thinking the water had come from up.

“What is this?” Liuxian asked.

“Stand up!” Liuxian heard Sun Dan's voice echoing through the room.

Finding himself back in the real world, Liuxian opened his eyes staring at his three roommates in the face.

“He's awake." Liuxian heard Yang Jie say.

" From now on, you are forbidden from drinking. Is this a habit from home? Alcohol is prohibited.” Tian Yin said.

“Enough. Liuxian, you need to stand up immediately. We are heading out today." Sun Dan said catching his attention.

“Heading out?” Liuxian asked sitting up as he looked at Sun Dan.

All the students of their class gathered outside on the arena waiting for their teacher. They had received an announcement through the Resounding Bell. Soon, four teachers came out presenting the four clans.

“We are going out today to get some experience and cultivate. Follow up closely if you don't want to die. And don't wander off. Do you understand?” Liuxian heard one of the teachers ask.

“If you don't mind, can you give us an idea of where we are going?” One of the students asked.

Not paying close attention, Liuxian searched for Sun Dan with his eyes. She was standing along with the Scholars dressed in yellow. The uniform fit her perfectly. Moving closer to her, Liuxian took her out of her line dragging her to him.

“What are you doing? I was listening to…”Sun Dan said but Liuxian cut her off.

“Shshhhhh. Don't be worried about that. No matter where we go, we will be protected. I want to ask you something. You are a Scholar so I am sure you would know something about it." Liuxian said.

" What is it then?” Sun Dan asked staring at Liuxian suspiciously.

“Have you heard the Banishing force sutra?" Liuxian asked.

" Banishing force sutra? Why are you asking about that? It's not even on our level.” Sun Dan said making Liuxian lower his gaze.

He had forgotten that Sun Dan was smart just like every other person from the Scholar clan. They were not easy to decieve at all.

“I heard about it back home. I was curious and I decided to ask. I already checked the library but there is nothing about it written there.” Liuxian said.

“Because it's a technique from the Toxic clan. Of course it's not in our library. This technique, I have heard about it before. I just don't know it. I also don't think you'd be able to find anything either.” Liuxian heard Sun Dan say.

“Oh? Is that so?" Liuxian asked laughing.

" Time to set out! Remember, you must stay close to each other. You remember everything we told you, right?” Liuxian heard the teacher say.

“But I didn't hear anything." Liuxian heard Sun Dan say.

Taking hold of her hand, Liuxian drew her closer to him.

“Don’t worry. I am here.” Liuxian said.

All the disciples and the teachers walked for hours without rest. After hours of walking and climbing, a student raised his hand about to complain when the Scholar teacher turned around.

“ We have reached. Everyone take your seats on the mountain. This place has a lot of good and bad qi. It is perfect to help your powers. Most of you are already in Qi Path Refinement and that's good. There are a lot of bad spirits here so be careful.” Liuxian heard the Scholar teacher say.

Sitting down beside Sun Dan, Liuxian looked around while others started cultivating.

“ Hey.” Liuxian heard Sun Dan said making him close his eyes.

While the disciples of Enchanting Void were cultivating, a dark smoke moved across on the other side slowly. Getting to the top of the mountain, the black smoke turned into two women.

“ What are they doing here? Mistress, it's my fault. I didn't notice them." A girl dressed in black said falling to her knees.

“The Martial Intellect God is with them. Of course you won't have noticed their presence. He came along with the students just to cultivate? It shows that Enchanting Void is still afraid of us.” Yawen said laughing loudly as she walked away.

While the other students and teachers closed their eyes cultivating, a man dressed in yellow opened his eyes watching as Yawen left. Just as they had expected, Toxic sect had followed them.

Meanwhile, Liuxian was finding it hard to cultivate. It was as if he was hearing screeching sounds around him. Even though he had not heard the teacher's instructions the first time, Liuxian knew he was already in danger.

His energy was turning dark.

Opening his eyes finally, Liuxian looked at his hands seeing dark smoke coming out of his hands. Reaching for the small bottle of liquor he had gotten, Liuxian took a sip while no one was looking. The green jade pendant hanging from his waist also had black smoke coming out of it but he had no idea.

Finding himself back in the fantasy world, Liuxian saw that the entire place was also covered in black smoke. He could hardly see anything there as it was pitch black all around him.

“Is anyone here? Hello?” Liuxian asked expecting to hear the voice again.

He had already spent half of the day climbing and walking with the rest disciples. Even then, he had not forgotten his tasks yet. He had no idea where he could learn the Banishing force sutra or find the Liquor of Resurrection.

“What do you want?” Liuxian heard a voice ask from no where.

Turning around, Liuxian tried to find the person but the entire place was so dark that he couldn't see anything. However, he knew that wasn't the voice he had heard before.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?” Liuxian asked as she turned around confused in the dark.

“What do you want? Tell me what you want and I can help you. Do you know where you are, right now?" Liuxian heard the voice ask.

" I am not knowledgeable at all. I am a weak protector who doesn't have any strength. If you'd be so kind as to enlighten me.” Liuxian said as he stretched his two hands moving forward.

His father had taught him this technique. To locate things by sound and without his eyes. Moving forward, Liuxian hoped the voice would keep on talking.

“ What a fool. The black smoke is acting as a barrier between you and me. There is no way you'd be able to find me. Besides, you are in front of the Soul Capturing Void. It's right in front of the edge of the cliff.” Liuxian heard the voice say.

“What do you want from me? Are you an evil spirit that escaped from the Void?" Liuxian asked.

" Others are in Qi Path Refinement. That's why the Void isn't having as much impact as it is on you. You are still in Soul Refinement. Your soul is barely complete. A martial artist whose soul is not complete, is as good as crippled man walking. I don't have much time. Tell me what you want.” Liuxian heard the voice say .

“ What I want?” Liuxian asked narrowing his eyes.

He was indeed tempted by the offer. Time was running out of him and it's not like he could leave the mountain and go back to Enchanting Void. But what if the real voice that owned this place caught him? Would there be consequences?

“Don't overthink. Time is of essence. If you fail, you would go back down a level. The consequences is unimaginable." Liuxian heard the voice say.

That was it for him. Falling for it completely, Liuxian asked what was on his mind.

“Banishing force sutra? Nice. I can teach you however, I don't know where the Liquor of Resurrection is. You would have to find that out for yourself.” Liuxian heard the voice say.

Nodding his head, Liuxian agreed. It was begged than nothing. Suddenly the black smoke in front of him disappeared a little. The path in front of him had been cleared completely. Looking at his sides, Liuxian still saw the black smoke around him they were everywhere except in front of him. Suddenly some black smoke gathered together talking the form of a human being.

“Follow the form in front of you." Liuxian heard the voice say.

Chanting the words he heard, Liuxian moved around practicing the moves he had been shown.

“Is he alright? Why is there so much evil aura around him?" One of the students asked as they stared at Liuxian.

The Martial Intellect God stared at Liuxian for a while thinking it was because of the Soul Capturing Void. He had warned the students because coming that the Soul Capturing Void was in front of where they were going to be cultivating. Although there was a lot of bad aura around, once they were able to overcome it, it helped in cleansing their meridians and healing.

Reaching into his sleeve, the Martial Intellect God brought out a pack of silver noddles. Using his energy, he threw the needles on Liuxian. The needles immediately glowed for a short while before becoming normal.

“Just as I suspected. It would not be that hard to overcome the demonic souls lurking around here. His soul isn't even complete yet. How is he in this class?" The Martial Intellect God asked looking at the students.

“Master, are you saying that he is in Soul Refinement? But the other day, he fought with one of the teachers. It was later discovered that he was in True Law.” One of the students said.

“True Law? Able to defy the boundaries of nature and become one with everything had exists. Are you sure they were not mistaken?" The Martial Intellect God asked.

“ Well, this morning. He came back and was in a deep sleep for a while. His powers also seemed weak." Sun Dan finally spoke up gaining the attention of everyone.

“Hmmm? A deep sleep? Never mind that. We have to save him first. Before the evil aura takes over his soul. His soul is not yet complete. It won't be hard for his soul to be tainted. We will find out what exactly happened later.” The Martial Intellect God said as he took his place behind Liuxian.

Back in the fantasy world, Liuxian noticed a change in the atmosphere around him.

“What is happening now?” Liuxian asked looking around.

“An old friend. Leave this place immediately!” Liuxian heard the voice say pushing him out back into the real world.

Opening his eyes, Liuxian coughed out blood immediately shocking everyone.
