Alex spoke, his gaze unintentionally glancing at room 1801 before quickly shifting away as he entered his room. He had planned to leave Mexico tonight, so he intended to ask Isabel to pack his things. However, suddenly, she rushed over and hugged him tightly, and Alex felt a warm liquid seeping into his shirt.

"Isabel..."

Was Isabel crying?

Alex was slightly taken aback, and it took him a moment to realize what was happening. He reached up and touched her shoulder, sensing her trembling body.

"Hey..."

"Alex, I'm terrified. I don't know what to do. I feel so helpless. I'm afraid something will happen to you, and then what will I do? I don't know..." Isabel spoke amidst sobs, her body trembling intensely.

This was the first time Alex had seen Isabel cry. Perhaps from childhood to adulthood, in his eyes, she had always been a strong girl. She had never called, even when she stumbled and fell as a child or was sick or in pain.

But now, she was shedding tears because of him.
