Chapter 7: Successful Cooperation

Then the two entered the company and went to Isabel's office. It was a room on the top floor, very spacious and luxurious.

Jessica and Isabel sat across from each other. They are all beautiful and talented girls, admired by many people. But Jessica looks more individual than Isabel. She wears a pair of trousers, high heels, and a blazer. Looks maturer and more elegant. Jessica's hair is also short, in contrast to Isabel's long hair. Jessica sat down, and she prepared what she was going to say. But at this moment, Isabel suddenly spoke:

"We can sign a contract."

"What?" Jessica was dumbfounded; she didn't understand what Isabel said until she handed over a thick set of contracts.

"We can do the signing now."

"Why... why? I mean, I haven't had time to tell you yet. Moreover, we haven't discussed the contract terms or the agreement between the two sides..."

Jessica stammered.

"No need." Isabel pushed the fountain pen toward her. Jessica was skeptical; she picked up the contract and began to read it carefully. Is there anything in this that deceives her? Or is this a trap? But all terms are reasonable.

Finally, Jessica took the pen and signed the contract, and at the same time, stamped it.

She still can't believe she can do this so quickly; she even feels her body floating in the clouds; it feels so surreal. But it's all true; Jessica happily took the contract, shook hands with Isabel, and prepared to leave.

Her family and her job are about to be saved, she was very excited inside.

"Prince?"

After signing the contract, Jessica went back home to take a shower. Meanwhile, Mrs. Andrew always follows her to advise her to divorce Alex.

When Jessica was in the bathroom, Mrs. Andrew was outside and didn't stop babbling. She poured the water out so loud that it drowned out her voice. The image of Alex always appeared in her mind because of Isabel's question. 

"Did Isabel know Alex? Or has Isabel heard about the gossips between Alex and her? " She thought in mind.

Then she shock her head and stopped thinking too much. It is the most important for her to hold a family meeting then.

Jessica got herself well dressed and went out, calling the manager to announce a shareholder meeting.

"We've been waiting for five minutes; what does Jessica want to do?"

"Is she trolling us? Does she see us as a joke?"

"It is disrespectful. We were allowed to get stood up."

All members of the Locke family and every vital company shareholder are gathered here just because they are about to hear the "important" information Jessica announces.

Jack slammed his fist on the table,

"I will banish her, you bastard."

Everyone agreed with Jack's opinion. No one defended Jessica. When they were talking about it at this moment, Mrs. Locke suddenly kicked the table, Jessica appeared, and they were all silent as if nothing had happened.

"I am here today to inform everyone that I have successfully partnered with Anderson Real Estate…"

"What?" Jessica had not finished her sentence when Jack interrupted her with a very harsh attitude. He looked at Jessica with a mocking and disbelieving look:

"Don't makeup stories like that. It's true that birds of a feather flock together. Your husband used fake diamonds, and now you're using fake contracts?"

Mrs. Fiona and Mr. Peter - Jack's parents, also showed disdain. Meanwhile, Jessica said nothing; she quietly took out the contract she had prepared and brought it to Mrs. Locke.

"Please see, this is the contract that I just signed with the vice president of Forest Group."
