Goblins

Night came and crickets bathed the surroundings with their songs. Ainz was sleeping soundly as the time that night seemed not to be minded. All were asleep and that was including his parents.

The owls soon hooted and then flew as they saw entities marching inside the forest. The troublesome thing was that some creatures were running and crumpling the leaves on the forest floor.

Shrieks from small creatures soon rang in Ainz's ears and it was loud enough to wake him up.

He was startled in his wake and then stood up in a jolt. His saliva was still drooling from his mouth as he squinted his eyes. He soon wiped his mouth with the back of his hands.

He soon saw from the window, the creatures small and green. Primarily goblins!

'They were already near the house!' Ainz sputtered inside his mind.

He immediately climbed down his crib and then went tip-toeing towards his parents. Entering their room, he grabbed the candle and then saw his sleeping parents.

He woke them up but it was to no avail. They were sound asleep.

"Mama! Dada!" he rubbed their clothes but they just snored and swat away his hands.

'Such irresponsible parents! We're gonna die at this rate! They will only get killed in their sleep!' he cried inside his mind and then looked around.

He then saw a dagger near his father's sword. Grabbing it, he immediately thought that the sword was heavy and was not up to his capabilities yet to lift. With it, he opened the door and locked it. His mind was in a wreck, whether this was bravery or recklessness. Or maybe even both!

He immediately shouted as he proclaimed his presence, "Fear me goblins!" he announced.

The goblins then all halted as he saw him. A child was challenging them as a whole? He even has milk in his mouth! Armed with a dagger and a diaper, he assaulted them head-on.

Ainz then was surrounded by goblins. He was not even blessed with their mercy.

He was slashed by one and then Ainz ducked. Repelling the dagger of the goblin and then slashing its throat. Blood spurted out like a shower.

"Shree?" they all watched in confusion.

"Shree!" this time they were angered.

They assaulted him and he was attacked in all directions. He deflected one slash of the enemy downwards and then slashed its head off. Making it fly apart from the body. He then was smashed with a club but Ainz sidestepped clumsily and he evaded in a hair's breadth. Making him spout baby words as he rotated and hacked its head off.

He then grabbed one and stabbed another one with his dagger on the back and stabbed nonstop. Others were perplexed at what they saw. They didn't know that a human child can be so fierce. It was far from what they understood.

Ainz then went away from the back of the goblin that puked blood and then helplessly stumbled to the ground. Ainz did not even give it mercy as he slits the throat.

One goblin then slashed horizontally and he ducked. He immediately stabbed its back and then twisted it with his dagger. Blood soon flowed and then he pulled the dagger. Smirking at the enemies.

The goblins then were all stepping back as he approached them.

They didn't know that the kid they were facing was a monster. Or should be something that was still sucking on his mom's tits. He then laughed and giggled at them as he ran with his blood-stained dagger. Swaying it and blood scattered on the ground as it drips from the said weapon.

Ainz then attacked them and their shrieks of excitement turned into shrieks of fear. It was such a blundering feeling that they felt.

Ainz then attacked them and they were sliced and hacked. One smashed with its blunt sword that had been dulled and Ainz met him with his dagger. Ainz then met him head-on with his dagger and his last moment was seeing a dagger heading towards his neck. Slashing his neck and then his head flew as the dagger had enough strength to decapitate him.

The others then attacked and he waited for them to approach him. He sidestepped on the one who was aiming to stab him and it hit his comrade instead. Stabbing him made his comrade struck with hopelessness. Ainz then went to decapitate the two and they were hugging each other as he did so.

'With more goblins that struck with fear, the better!' he muttered inside his mind.

Alas, the battle has yet to be finished. But the goblins' smirks turned to desperation. They can't kill the kid they were facing!

Also, he has yet to get drained or get tired. He was still full of energy. Making baby-laughs at them as he stabbed their dead comrades. Such a monster! Such a horrific scene!

They were soon agitated and felt a mix of fear. But still, they had to finish the job. Or else, they can't go home. Not now that they lost too much.

They soon attacked full force and they all wailed as they attacked. Ainz was not even intimidated as they all surrounded him. He immediately ran head-on towards them and attacked with a loud shout. A baby shout that seemed excited accompanied by a giggle afterward.

He immediately clashed his weapon with them and soon, the battle died down.

His father woke up and then went outside. Seeing his son smeared with blood with all those goblin bodies littered around him.

"Dada!" Ainz shouted, blood was still on his cheeks with hands held high to hug him.

"Oh my goodness! My son! Are you okay?" he immediately ran towards him and hugged him. He will never forgive himself if something happens to his son.

"Hun, what's with all that ruckus?" his mother was still squinting his eyes and saw all the dead bodies littered on the ground.

"Oh my!" she covered her mouth in sheer realization.

"Call the guards! We are attacked by goblins!" she shouted.

"Who killed them?" she was left unanswered.

Soon the clan was alerted and they dispatched guards in all directions. Ringing the bells that they were attacked.

Soon, the goblins were eradicated and they all rested that night. Ainz was then washed by his mother and was spanked on the butt.

"Who told you to get outside at night?! You are smeared with blood all over your face!" she spanked him again and Ainz was not feeling rewarded for his efforts. All went down the drain. Still, his parents then were perplexed by such unacceptable reasoning that their child killed a goblin horde. They would still not believe it because it was absurd.
