The car was parked outside the restaurant, but Marie was having a hard time getting out of the car, her body language gave off fear with a mix of anger and anxiety.

She kept on looking at every side as if someone was haunting her to be killed. As soon as she stepped out, she hastened her footsteps until she was inside the restaurant. The guards found it strange, but didn't act too much on it, instead, they took her to the seat reserved for just Tristan and herself.

She took her seat still uncomfortable, she swallowed hard as she held onto the necklace she was wearing, she was about to take it off when someone walked into the restaurant as well and gave her a sinister sneer.
