CHAPTER 11: A Condition

Ivan ignored the two people who bypassed him and went back to sleep on the couch. He did not want to sleep in the guest room beside the master's bedroom.

Ivan was still perambulating around when he heard a moaning sound from upstairs. It was loud, and it was obvious that Lucy was not trying to control her voice.

It was unknown whether she did it intentionally or not.

He stopped walking for a while, clenched his jaws, and then lay on the couch with his back, staring at the ceiling.

The morning rays flooded into the room through the drawn curtains, shimmering on the surface of the glossy tiles.

The drawn curtains fluttered with the early morning wind, casting flowing shadows on the ground as they moved, giving the room a surreal vibe.

Ivan squinted his eyes open at this point, his eyelids droopy, and looked around the sitting room with his groggy eyes, as if confused about where he was.

After a while, his eyes regained clarity, and he stood up, then walked towards the stairs
