Evans was glad to see Donna smile. He was glad with the kind of life they both lived, and he was going to do anything in his power to make sure she always stayed by his side.

He was going to love the children she carried and treat them as if they were his own flesh and blood.

"I'm going to have the servants prepare something sumptuous and healthy for you; I'll be right back," Evans stood up and gave her a kiss on the forehead before he left.

Donna frowned the moment he walked out. She felt like he was hiding something from her, and she was so eager to find out what it was. She had seen him in her memory, which meant that they were really married and they seemed to love each other too.

If he loved her, then why was he hiding something from her? Was it to protect her?

It was already late, and Donna was feeling tired and sleepy; she tried waiting for Evans, but she fell asleep without knowing how or when.
