CHAPTER 21: PSIONIC BEAST I

Two men in rough clothes ran out of a store into an alley. They had some cash in both hands, as they had just robbed the store.

“We did good tonight. That store had $300 in their cash register” One of them said still on the run.

“Let's go get something to eat. I'm hun...” The other said but quickly stopped in his tracks.

“...what was that?” He asked looking back.

“I don't see anything. It's probably just the wind” The other shrugged.

A figure walked out of the shadows, growling, it's shadow reflecting it's long teeth and claws.

“What in the world?”

It dashed at them, sinking it's claws into their chest. Then blackout!

Cops already at the scene, stood in pairs around the alley. Ralph ran in with his brown bag.

“What do we have here?” He asked.

“Two dead, found late last night. Looks like some sort of attack” Detective Shawn briefed pointing at the covered bodies.
