Lord Eric flashed an urgent stare at Michael and mouthed a whisper. “My boy, do you think we can trust him?”

All hearts settled in thoughts; Connor Pierce knew his information was sensitive and everyone should wonder why he chose to reveal such information.

Aside from the CEO, every other staff member in the boardroom had a similar thudding question: “Can he be trusted? Could be working alongside Gerald, Marshall, and Michelle.”
