The Confusion...

Emily was at the front of the cameras, and different people were at her front. She was already ready for the press conference.

"You can start asking her questions." Her secretary said this and pointed to the first person who raised her hand.

"You said there was a special announcement you would like to make today; does it have to do with Mike's fraud?" One of the reporters asked her.

"Yes! I was so flustered that he could get to do something like that. I was right beside him. We almost dated, and I didn't know he was another person hiding under Felix's skin. I was surprised when I heard it, and I don't know if I were to blame myself for walking with him." Emily stuttered, fake tears almost falling from her eyes.

She wanted to put on a fake act so she could get people on her side, which was really working well for her.
