Chapter 30 - There is no competition

Henry told his father and Jordan about the club incident when he got beaten up by Blurb and then how Michel came to arrest him and broke his leg at the police station. Henry also told them about that night’s event but didn’t mention killing anyone. He said, “When we were on our way to a hotel room with her, she revealed her true identity to me and then warned me that if I didn’t tell her about the person who told me to do that work, then she will destroy me. My friend was with me, and she poisoned him just to show that she wasn’t joking.”

“So, was she the one who dropped you off at the hospital?” Jordan asked him.

“Y- yes,” Henry replied hesitantly.

Henry’s father was angry with him after he heard that he bullied someone just because someone mocked him in front of his girlfriend. “I knew you were a fool, but to think that you’d get manipulated this easily. It’s truly a shame…” he said.

“I am sorry, Dad,” Henry said with a sad voice. “I promise, I won’t do this ever again.”
