Chapter 38

Audrey cried even more while continuing to call Dason's name.

"Dason, wake up; don't die. I don't want to be a widow," said Audrey between tears.

Dason laughed at Audrey's reaction, who was actually afraid of becoming a widow.

“Dason! You lied to me, didn't you?" Audrey asked irritably.

Dason pulled his wife's body into his arms, giving her a warm kiss. Making Audrey even more embarrassed, she buried her face in Dason's broad chest.

"I'm sorry, and thank you for worrying," said Dason, smoothing Audrey's hair.

"You have the heart," answered Audrey.

Dason again invited Audrey to sit down.

"I have something for you," said Dason, showing Audrey his holiday ticket on his cellphone.

Audrey, who originally wanted to protest with Dason's battered cell phone, gave up her intention when she read what Dason showed.

Audrey looked at Dason's face intently to make sure what she was reading wasn't a prank like Dason had done earlier.
