Carrisa got up instantly when she heard Lola talking about giving up. What does she mean by giving up? She is already old and there is nothing that she can do anymore? Is she saying that she should just sit back and whatch her as she died? No! There was no way that she wanted to do that! As long as her grandmother is still alive, she is going to make sure that she does everything to make sure that she stays alive! She won't be leaving her side at all! Does she think that it is that easy to give up on a family member? She definitely won't give up on her at all.

Carrisa calmed herself down and looked at her grandmother. She already knew what was going on so there was no need trying to lie to her. Sure fifty thousand was a really huge sum and she had no idea how she was going to get that ammout right now but she still wanted to give it her all. She was going to get the money, one way or another! "Grandmother, you don't have to worry about anything. I know it's a really huge sum but I promise you that in going to get it. Just focus on getting better!" Carrisa said.

Rita looked on at Carrisa. When she heard Lola talking just now, she had almost agreed with her. Carrisa already suffered so much. She was going through a lot right now trying to get the money for her treatment, why does she have to suffer so much? All that she had to do right now was to just let things be. She could be with Lola until she passes away in peace. But Rita knew her friend well. Carrisa would never settle for that. She already came this far. Even though she did not know how she was going to get the money she still wanted to give it a try, for the sake of her grandmother.

The only thing that she could do right now was to continue to help her whichever way that she can. If only she was doing really well, then she definitely could have helped her friend. But after years of struggle, she only got into the entertainment circle a few months back. She knew no one so she was only making guest appearances now. Why are things so difficult? She sighed. "Don't worry Lola. You are going to be fine. Carrisa will do everything to make sure that you are fine" Those were the only words of comfort that Rita could offer.

Jeline walked out of the hospital. She was in a really bad mood. She had been able to hide her emotions and act all sweet in front of Damian's grandfather but immediately she was away from him she could not hide the anger, and embarrassment that she was feeling. That person had completely made fun of her. He insulted her completely. And to make things even worse she saw straight through her act. She knew that it won't be easy for her to conquer such a man but she was even more determined to try. She would show him, there hasn't been a man that she wanted and she did not get.

The only reason she was able to survive in the entertainment industry was because of her perseverance. Even though she had gotten it easy because of her face, she still had to do something. She had to make good use to her face to make sure that she does not lose out on anything. She is going to make sure that she gets Damian Blackwell to fall in love with her. She was already sick and tired of going around in the name of being an actress. Once she gets married to him and gets her revenge on those people, she will have an easy life from then on! Thinking about that, made her relax a bit.

Peter looked at her face and saw that she was really angry. Ever since they walked out of the ward, the sweet smile that was on her face was instantly replaced by a grim expression. He knew just how pretentious this niece of his was and he knew that her smile was just a facade that she was putting on to impress that old man. But when he saw that she looked upset, he was surprised. She had gone out to talk with Damian right? She said that everything was fine right? Then she should be happy. Why is she so angry?

It couldn't be that she had lied right? He too had heard about the reputation of Damian Blackwell. This isn't the first time his grandfather was trying to set him up with some woman. It did not end well for any of the women. Maybe his neice was not so different? He smirked thinking about how Damian must have given her a hard time. She thinks that she can seduce anyone with her face! But he also knew that if the marriage did not happen, then his company was doomed. He had to care. "What happened to you Jeline? I thought that you said everything was fine with you and Damian. Did something happen?" Peter asked.

Jeline turned to glare at her uncle with blood shot eyes. She could understand what he was getting at. He was asking if she had Damian really did get along well as she said. Is this man trying to make fun of her now? She knew that she has been really smug and arrogant to them lately because of the marriage that was supposed to happen. If she does not marry Damian then they won't let her hear the end of it! No, that can't happen. She has to make sure that she marries Damian Blackwell!

"What nonsense are you talking about? I already told you that I got along well with him! He asked me some questions and I answered him! We got along well and we talked about some stuff! You don't need to annoy me so much! We are going to get married. I know what you are thinking but know this. If I don't get married to Damian the one who is going to be in a lot of trouble will you be you and Paul. Your company is going to go bank rupt!" Jeline said. She was confident that she could get the man that she wants. She does not to worry much. She will get him.

Peter looked at Jeline. He was more than convinced now that things had not gone the what that she said. If she really did have a good talk with Damian and the both of them are getting along as she said then there was no need for her to be this grumpy about it. Does this mean that there is a man that the great Jeline could not seduce? This is really something! But even though he wanted to be happy about it, he could not. He had his company to think about .

"There is no need for you to be so grumpy! If it is true that you got along well with Damian then you don't have to be so grumpy! You already know that I have been putting up with your excessive attitude because of the marriage right? You have to make sure that this marriage happens! I really hope that you understand what is going on here!" Peter said. He had been putting up with so much because of the marriage lately. Since it already came to this, he did not want to put up with her excessive attitude anymore! She had to know her place and what she is supposed to do.

Jeline glared at her Uncle. She was really angry now. What does he take her for? No matter how mean and cold Damian Blackwell is, he is still a man and there isn't a man that she wanted and she did not get. She was confident that she was going to get Damian in the end! Is this man trying to make fun of her now? She knew that she has been really smug and arrogant to them lately because of the marriage that was supposed to happen. If she does not marry Damian then they won't let her hear the end of it! No, that can't happen. She has to make sure that she marries Damian Blackwell!

"What nonsense do you think that you are going on and on about right now? Let me tell you something I am going to marry Damian Blackwell. Like I said just now the both of us are getting along fine. We will be able to get married in a short time. If you keep acting like this and trying to lecture me on what I am supposed to do and not do then I can only tell you that I won't be helping your company! I'll get married and I won't help your company at all! Don't test my patience. I am no longer that little girl who relied on you to survive. You should know that you should not be messing around with me right now!" Jeline said. She was already feeling angry enough after everything that happened, how dare this man try to annoy her even further?

Paul was in the company when he had received a call from his father that they were going to the hospital to see John, the grandfather of Damian Blackwell. He knew from what his father had told him that this marriage was going to happen because of the old man. He wanted to make a good impression on him too and so even though his father told him not to come he still decided to come and curry favour from the man and probably even Damian Blackwell himself! He stopped in front of the hospital and saw his father and Jeline. From the look of it, they were arguing. He came closer only to hear Jeline saying those things to his father.

He was beyond angry! Just who does this woman think that she is? Does she think that she can talk to them however she wants because she is the one who has to get married? What? She will get married and not help the company? What a joke! "What do you think that you are saying right now Jeline? Do you think that you have become a big shot since you are going to marry Damian Blackwell? You should know that this marriage is going to happen because of us! If it weren't for us then you won't even be able to dream about Damian Blackwell! Don't be so smug to us!" Paul yelled.

Jeline rolled her eyes. When did this klutz get here? The condition of the Anderson company right now could very well be said to be the fault of this idiot standing in front of her. Even though he was a few years older than her, Jeline had zero regards for him. And it wasn't just because of the way that they had treated her. It also had to do with the fact that he was a complete idiot who always acts before he thinks. Fred had no inkling of what compm sense is. Even when they were young and im high school, he had never been a problem for her. She could always take care of him and deal with his stupidity without even having to lift a finger. In fact, the only person who had ever posed much of a problem for her besides her aunt and uncle who seemed to hate her for no reason at all was lydia. His younger sister. Even his younger sister Lydia was much more scheming and calculating than him!

Jeline looked at him with a gaze that was filled with disgust. She could only feel disgusted with a person as stupid as Fred. "What? Do you really think that you can take credit for that?
