Chapter 53

"Any improvements?" A female voice asked with a hint of worry in her tone.

Deep in his subconscious, where darkness reigned, Jacob could hear the familiar voice echoing in his mind as if in a far away distance, but something told him it was closer than he thought, so he sought to follow that voice hoping it would bring him to the light out of this endless darkness.

"I'm afraid there are no changes, we still can't tell when he'll come to." The voice was a male, one that sounded really mature and professional.

"You don't have to be sad Lucy, Jacob is strong, I'm sure he'll be alright, he'll wake up soon." Jason comforted.

Lucy?

Jacob heard that name echo in his subconscious. That name and the voices speaking sounded incredibly familiar to him, however it felt as if the endless fog of darkness was clouding his memory, but he continued to follow the voices towards the light.
