Settling In

"Thud", a heavy sound roused Jacob awake, opening his eyes, he saw a man pointing a gun at him, a devilish smirk on his face, the man pulled the trigger.

Gasping, Jacob woke up, realising it was a nightmare.

But in reality, someone was truly thumping on his door; swinging his legs of the bed, he wondered who it was when he remembered that he was now living in a cabin at the White Hunters Guild.

"Thud, thud", the heavy knocking came again. Jacob stood up in a rush, hitting his toe against the bedside stool; suppressing the urge to curse, Jacob limped towards the door, swearing to kill whoever it was if the knocking wasn't for an important reason.

Opening the door, Jacob saw two guys standing in front of the door, one of them holding a club, presumably that was what was being used to knock.

"Who are you??", Jacob asked, frowning.

"So you are the newbie around here eh??", the guy holding the club asked
