Vampire[WARNING: GORY SCENE AHEAD](1)"It's Lucy....She became one of those Undead", Stephen said, rooting Tony to the spot."What????...Undead??, how is that even possible??", Tony asked in disbelief."Sigh, I also don't know Tony, I met her unconscious and decided to bring her into this cave I saw earlier. But then, she woke up screaming and thrashing around, making all those groaning noises", Stephen said, once again shocking Tony."The Guild might have something that could save her, but she might get away before then. Let's go inside the cave, so you can use your wood element to tie her down, at least before the rest of the group gets here", Stephen continued, causing Tony to nod repeatedly. Taking a step forward, Tony was about to go inside the cave when he paused, he decided to probe the cave first. Being a wood element awakened, he could communicate with the plants, and even the soil, using it to know whether he was stepping into a trap or not.Slightly closing his eyes, Tony
Night CrawlerGetting over his shock, Jacob became curious; the last time he used the system's observe skill to check Stephen's status, it brought him up as human, but this was definitely not human.'Observe', Jacob muttered;==============** Name : Stephen Miller Class : Null Level : 17 (Weakened) Race : Night Crawler(Lower Demonic Specie) Night Crawler : An ancient demonic race, known as slaves of the ancient Vampire Knights. They have the special attribute of being able to blend into any situation, therefore earning them the nickname; Illusionists of the Underworld. In ancient times, they were sent out by their masters to invade enemy territories and wreck havoc, blending in as one of the enemy. Their natural form is similar to that of a vampire but weaker. Although the Night Crawler attribute gives them the ability to blend in, staying in their fake form for too long gradually weakens their power, eventually making them vulnerable to attacks.===============.'So that'
BattleA terrifying regal aura spread out of Jacob, as he unintentionally activated Might. Stephen, who just crawled out of the ditch, felt his knees go weak, as every single cell in his body wanted to bow, to obey this God that has descended on Earth. Gritting his teeth, Stephen barely managed to restrain himself as he forced his body off the ground, the force so heavy, blood was dripping out of his nose.'This bloodline...I knew it was strong, but how is it this strong?!', Stephen thought, as even he started having second thoughts over how his father's experiment would be successful, as the higher levelled the bloodline....the lower the chances of success. Lucy, on the other hand, felt something she had never felt before....her blood seemed to suddenly come to life, pumping around her body with wild intent. For a brief second, she even felt her awakened ability return to her, before it disappeared again.Feeling his strength and Bloodline Energy rapidly draining, Jacob snapped ou
New ArrivalOutside the Isolated Space....."Miss, we've searched the entire Dustwind Village....no sign of the kids", an Awakened reported back to Nikita.Shaking her head dejectedly, Nikita sighed; it's been over an hour since they got here, and their search for the kids was futile. The only evidence that showed that the Heaven's Chosens passed through here was the carcass of some Rank C Monsters. "Miss, I don't know if this is related to the disappearance of the kids, but I think you have to know this. We found some strange looking Monsters during our search....humanoid looking Monsters", the Awakened continued, as Nikita raised a brow."Bring them here boys", the Awakened commanded, as some men brought the strange looking Monsters and dropped it in front of Nikita.Seeing the strange Monsters, Nikita frowned; they looked disproportionate and were rotting, all in all, they were disgusting to look at."Where were they found??""Just outside the Shelter, Miss. My guess is that, the
Who?!Pain. All he could feel was pain; the blankness of his mind making it worse. Opening his heavy eyes, he tried to lift his arms but he failed, devoid of strength. "Oh, look who finally decided to come back from the dead", a voice full of sarcasm mocked him.Hearing the voice, Jacob's mind exploded, as the memories came flooding back.Tilting his head towards the direction of the voice, he saw Lucas by his right side, looking at him with a weird smile."For a moment there, I thought you were dead", Lucas continued, ignoring the dumb look on Jacob's face.Looking down at Lucas's hands, Jacob found out that Lucas was tied down to a chair, the same as Lucy was.Looking around, he saw Lucy by his left, her expression that of relief."I'm glad you are ok", Lucy said with a smile, her voice weak as it was obvious she was tired.Nodding to show his appreciation at her concern, Jacob looked in front of him, where he finally saw Stephen and his...dad, holding weird-looking test tubes with
The Goofy Looking Ancient God The headache was intense; passing out twice in a row was not a fun experience. Opening his eyes, he immediately regretted the decision; as he immediately raised his hands to block out the brightness. "What the hell??, who invited the goddamn sun here??", he muttered dumbly. Finally feeling his eyes acclamatizing to the brightness, he peeled off his hands as he peeked around. He soon saw the reason for the unreasonable brightness; he was in a white room, walls painted white, roof painted white, even the floor was white. There seemed to be a reflection of light bouncing across the room. He noticed he was sitting in a chair, also white, and in front of him was a table and another chair across him.'Is this the place where your records would be checked to determine whether you would be going to Heaven or Hell??', Jacob thought. "Hi!!!, how do you do??", a cheerful voice snapped him out of his reverie as he flinched; there was someone sitting in the chair
Closure(1)Looking at the smug smile on the so-called God's face, Jacob's lips twitched; the goofy old man looked more like a stalker than an Ancient God. "How did you know all that??", Jacob asked, as the old man only chuckled harder, caressing his beard."Nothing is hidden in the eyes of this God", the man proclaimed, hitting his chest in pride. "But, there is something strange about you though, there is another entity inside you. I couldn't see through it, which is very strange....I could only block it's observation", Nogret said, squinting his eyes as he stared hard at Jacob.'That must be the system!!. Nogret's tampering with it's observation must have been why I couldn't get a response from it', Jacob thought. "I would advice you to be careful though; although that entity seems to make you grow stronger quickly, it also seems to be drawing on your bloodline. After all, a known Demon is better than an unknown Angel", Nogret advised, to which Jacob nodded, even if he didn't und
Closure(2)After a spell of drifting through the void, Jacob finally felt his feet touch solid ground. 'Long distance teleportation sucks', he grumbled, as the long awaited wave of dizziness washed over him. Opening his eyes, the first thing he felt different was the gravity, as he felt as light as a feather. Looking around, he tried to familiarise himself with his surroundings as he looked for any landmark to find out his current location. He soon found it though, as right in front of him was a skyscraper, and at it's forefront was a large billboard which said; "Lith's Automated Tech". The building was all too familiar to Jacob as he was surprised Nogret would actually bring him here....Lith's Automated Tech was the company his Dad worked for. Wondering whether Nogret sent him to this particular place on purpose, he got a move on, as he left the alley he was in and chose a destination; the cemetery. Hardly had he taken a step did he receive a notification; =============== **Di
