First DayTwo days later. Jacob opened his eyes, but he didn't get a breakthrough notification this time. Clenching his fists, Jacob knew that, although he was still in the Intermediate Level, just a little more effort was needed, and he would breakthrough to the Advanced Level, where he would be able to take six steps. Standing up, Jacob looked at the puppet standing nearby, as he wondered how it was being powered. "I have to go out now. But I'll be back, I'll still smash you up, Tin Head", Jacob said, feeling foolish for talking to an automated puppet. Focusing his perception, Jacob thought about exiting the Scroll Space as he stepped out, finally leaving the Scroll. Looking around, he was suprised to find Katerina at the same place he left her; except, she was currently sleeping on the marble floor, sprawled around like a sleeping kid. Jacob suddenly felt bad seeing that; Katerina waited for him in that same spot he left her, even falling asleep on the ground, for seven days. Si
Enlightenment Stepping out of the shelter, they headed towards the Village, ready to unravel the mystery of the Undead. Stephen walked at the forefront, using his Super Vision to scout for danger, Jason and Lucy in the middle, while Tony and Jacob stayed at the back. The atmosphere was tense, with each of them moving cautiously, ready to act at any moment; except for Jacob. He was walking casually, hands in pocket and his eyes half closed.Although Jacob seemed to be moving casually, in reality, he wasn't, for in front of him was a blue screen and on it was the Scroll he acquired from the Sword Emperor's palace; he was trying to comprehend more but, no matter how many times he tried, Jacob couldn't comprehend any further. Realising that he had hit what cultivators in the novels he read called Bottleneck, Jacob no longer wasted time on comprehending; he needed combat.Dismissing the blue screen, Jacob looked up, just in time to see Stephen raising his left hand, signalling for them t
UndeadAfter a few seconds of running around, Jacob opened his eyes, smiling foolishly; he had just discovered something unique in the Sword Skill. The time it took him to activate the skill had drastically reduced, it took four seconds to take four steps before but now, it only took him two, half the time needed. Shifting his gaze towards the trapped Wind Footed Cheetah, had an evil smile on his face as he gripped his sword tightly, activating the modified Sword Skill. The Wind Footed Cheetah suddenly felt a shiver run down it's spine, as if it was being watched by a Demon King. Looking towards the source of the danger, the Cheetah only had enough time to slightly open it's mouth before it was stabbed through, a Sword protruding from the back of it's head."Thankfully, I lured the Monster to a different place", Jacob muttered; he knew that there would be questions of other saw him run that fast and also killing the Monster that easily.**Ding Level up(Level 12~13)**===============
UndeadFinally exiting the cover of the plants, Jacob unsheathed his Sword as he finally saw the two Undeads; It was true, one had a rather small stature, like a female's, while the other had a more bigger stature. But they had one thing in common; their skin were both falling off, looking extremely grotesque."Alright, here's close enough, Tony; probe them", Stephen said as Tony nodded and concentrated. Raising up his hands with his palms facing up, Tony summoned some vines from underground as they latched onto the Undeads, holding them down."Woohoo, it worked; and there's no reflection. Good one Tony", Lucy cheered, patting Tony's back as Tony puffed out his chest and scoffed, as if to say it was to be expected."Phew, that's a relief. Take down your Space Wall Jacob; it must be draining your mana", Stephen said, as Jacob had been using the Space Wall to shield against the flaming arrows. Nodding, Jacob was about to take down the Space Wall when he suddenly realised something as he
Lost Memories 'Is this the end', Jacob thought as the flaming arrow left it's bow, flying towards him. Clenching his teeth in despair, Jacob was unwilling to die as he struggled violently against the gravitational force, only to find it getting heavier. Sighing, Jacob closed his eyes, feeling the cold hands of death getting closer. "Ba dum, Ba dum", Jacob heard something. Listening closely, Jacob found out that it was his heart, although the gravitational force had stopped every single particle of his body from moving, it couldn't stop his heart. Thinking to here, Jacob suddenly felt something, a strange energy was filling his body, filling him with power, making him feel the same way he did whenever he was filled with Mana. The weird thing about the Energy was that, although Jacob was absolutely sure that he had not felt that Energy before, he could feel a strangely familiar aura in the Energy, like he was with a close kin. Deciding to think about that later, Jacob took a deep brea
Bloodline Awakening After making sure that Jason went back to his shelter and was resting, Jacob finally went into his own, keeping an eye out for Stephen.Lying down on his makeshift bed, Jacob was wondering if he should enter the Sword Space when he suddenly remembered; he had some system notifications to check. They are Rank B??"Do you think the things from the palace can be moved outside??", Jacob asked as Katerina raised an eyebrow; "Why do you ask??". Jacob didn't reply as he tried to use his Telekinesis to lift the sofa up, and to his suprise, it worked!!!."Let's go", Jacob said as Katerina followed behind him, wondering why this human was acting strange.||Jacob gasped as he came to, he still couldn't get used to the dizziness caused by travelling to and from the Sword Space. He helped Katerina fix in the sofa as her new bed, and after rounds of thanks from her, he finally left the Sword Space.Popping some Hunger Distancing pills in his mouth, he stretched his sore muscles as he laid on the makeshift bed; there was still time to get enough shut eye.♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧Early the next morning, Stephen called for an emergency situation report."I'm sure you've all heard about this, but just to be clear, I'll go through it again. My group was attacked by two Undeads yesterday, an ambush. We
Real DangerWalking deeper into the Village, the two teams stuck together, making sure to not go past a certain distance from each other."Urrggghhh...this is so boring!!!", Lucas complained, for the third time in the past hour."Stop being a pr*ck Lucas", Lucy chided as Lucas rolled his eyes, but he stopped complaining though. Seeing this, Jacob, who was beside Lucy smiled; although Lucas and Lucy seemed to be estranged, they still loved each other. They had been moving around for the past two hours and all they had come across was a bunch of D ranked Monsters that Lucas disdained to even look at, claiming they were a shame on his name. In the end, the task of clearing them off fell on the one ranked lowest, Jacob. Jacob also cleared them off in one move, using his modified Shadow Decay. The shadows of the D ranked Sand Tigers emerged from the ground and enveloped them and the next moment, the shadow cleared off, revealing what could only be called bones. When Jacob used the skill,
