Chapter 120 : Encounter

Zen furrowed his brow. She squinted him eyes glancing at the man. Swear words kept coming out of Rowan's mouth as if he was dissatisfied with Zen's situation. "Why are you always swearing? That's not a nice thing to do in front of people you just met," Zen said.

Rowan took a deep breath because he did not expect how innocent the person in front of him was. If only him captain hadn't told him to look after this person, she would have died a silly death being crushed by the monsters. Rowan then picked up a pepper spray and held it out to Zen. "Take this," he said.

In confusion Zen took the object. The smell of pepper was very obvious from the mouth of the spray. It was commonly used to protect oneself from stalkers, even some women in the city carried it just in case. So why did Rowan give it to him?
