Chapter 17: Axel

James was so surprised he had to fight even two days after he almost died from the fight. Axel took a few steps back, then picked up a wooden sword, a straight sword of medium size.

"Y-you can take the weapon behind you," Axel said in his typical stammering style, similar to a mentally unwell person. He swung the wooden sword a few times to gauge its weight.

James looked back, seeing a variety of wooden weapons. He walked over to them, and he also touched them. All the weapons were very unfamiliar to him. James didn't find any projectile weapons at all. Everything was just melee weapons.

"No pistol or crossbow models?" asked James, still looking for projectile weapons among the wood.

"Y-you won't find any, James. The training weapons in this place are only melee weapons," replied Axel, walking to the centre of the room.
