Chapter 3 : Blade

James was wide-eyed, trembling as he reached for the seat belt locked next to his waist. His hand was suddenly grabbed by Jessica, making him flinch even more. James screamed out loud in fear.

"Babe, why are you scared? We're lovers, aren't we?" Jessica smiled sinisterly, showing her sharp teeth. The woman's eyes began to burn red as she stared at James. Her body emitted a foul odor, like the monster's smell at the Visconte funeral home last night.

"No! Please! Let go of me!" James thrashed about.

Jessica opened her mouth, revealing how ugly she looked. She seemed to be preparing to bite James' body. However, suddenly an iron sword pierced Jessica's chest from behind, blood spurting onto James' face. James screamed in terror. He looked behind him and saw the sword coming from Anne's hand. The sexy woman's hand turned into a long sharp metal.

"Hua! It hurts! You bastard!" cursed Jessica while holding the sword in her chest.

Jessica tried to remove the sword by pulling it out, but Anne pulled it out and thrust it into Jessica's body again, making the scaly woman scream again.

"Shut up, you fucking monster!" cursed Anne as she continued to hold the sword.

Jessica then began to go limp, her arms drooping limply downwards. Her body had a slight convulsive response, but there was no more movement after a while. Jessica was truly dead this time.

Anne pulled the sword out, causing Jessica's blood to spurt again, contaminating most of the car's interior.

James, on the other hand, was shaking with fear. Shocked by the quick turn of events. She turned her head slowly to Anne.

"Wh-Wha...Wha-what is this?" James asked Anne.

Anne let out a long breath, then exhaled, her neck dripping with sweat made her look very seductive, but in this state, no one could notice.

"There's no time to explain. You see, someone died here. We need to hide it," she said as she unlocked the car. He got out of the car to look around.

"Wh-who are you? W-what happened to Jessica?" asked James, still stammering.

Anne didn't listen to him, she just walked away while looking for an opening. James shakily unbuckled the seat belt around his waist.

James then opened his car door and got out. He felt his legs start to feel weak, the incident just now made him need to support his body by holding on to the car.

"An-, Anne...what i-is this?" James tried to step closer to Anne.

"Shut up, James! I'll explain later!" snapped Anne, glaring at James. James himself immediately went silent.

Anne looked around again, making sure no one saw them. Fortunately, Anne didn't see any CCTV around them.

"Fortunately..." she said with relief.

She then looked up. Her attention was drawn to a crack in the concrete. Ane reached her hand up.

James saw something frightening again. Anne's hand extended upwards, then tapped the crack hard. James felt several shocks from the tapping. The hard knocks brought a piece of rebar into view. Anne cut the rebar with her metal hand, then held it up. James was wide-eyed at what he saw.

"Aahh...! Are you a mo-monster too, Anne?" James was terrified as he shakily pointed at Anne's hand.

"Shut up! Why do you keep talking?" Anne snarled, taking a step towards throwing the piece of metal.

The sexy woman then threw the iron like a spear, so hard that it stuck in the tunnel's edge and caused many cracks.

The force of the throw left James both stunned and horrified. James was convinced that Anne was a dangerous person. If James did anything Anne didn't want him to do, he would surely die by the hand of the loam.

Anne then spun the car around using her strong metal hand, the car was aimed at the stuck metal. She then walked over to James, grabbed his body, and forced him back into the car.

"Wh-what the"

"Get in!"

Anne got back into the car and sat in the back seat. James was getting scared, his face was deathly pale, his lips turning blue. His eyes trembled at the sight of Jessica's limp corpse. The stench from Jessica's body was ignored by James because he was so scared.

James peered shakily into the rearview mirror, seeing what Anne was doing. The woman was cooking the seat belt on her body.

"Anne, what-what..." James felt his body and mind very weak. He wanted to say something but couldn't finish.

"Speak clearly!" snapped Anne.

James closed his eyes and looked down, feeling his breathing become very short. His chest was tight. The fear he felt made the hazel-eyed man unable to control his thoughts. He tried to calm himself down by breathing as long as possible.

"What...are you going to do?" asked James, still stammering.

"Saving our lives, of course!"

"W-we?"

"I can't explain right now, James. Just trust me, and we will live!"

Live? What else could it be? James had already experienced an assassination attempt last night, met a monster at the funeral home, and found out his girlfriend was also a monster. What else could threaten his life? This metal-armed woman? Evil thoughts raged in James' head.

Anne then extended her hand, pressing the accelerator of the car. The car's rear wheels spun rapidly, pushing the vehicle forward, with no one holding the wheel.

James reflexively grabbed her metal hand, preventing her from continuing to press the accelerator. James pulled with all his might, but the metal hand was so strong it didn't budge even once.

"S-stop! We're going to die!" shouted James.

Anne didn't care, she kept pressing the accelerator. The car accelerated right into the crack Anne had made with the rebar. James saw the distance between the vehicle and the cracked wall getting closer. James turned his face to the side when it was less than ten meters away.

The car hit the tunnel wall so hard that part of its body dug into it. Jessica's chest was accidentally pierced by the embedded rebar. The heavy vehicle immediately lost its engine, leaving a plume of smoke pouring out of the front hood.

"Damn it!" cursed James weakly, struggling to breathe because of the smoke from the hood.

James found himself covered in blood. The impact of the car against the wall gave him several wounds on his body and several broken bones.

James looked back, checking how Anne was doing. On the other hand, Anne was also injured. Her temples looked bloody, with bruises on her hands and a pretty face. But unbeknownst to James, the woman was smiling after what she did.

She then looked at James, making their eyes meet. Her smile grew even more expansive, giving James goosebumps.

"What are you looking at, handsome?"
