Chapter 57 : The Uncovered

After Zen finished off the monster, he contacted Rico. He asked for a pickup for them. They couldn't move freely if their situation was like this. They moved away from the place and hid before the monsters came back. They hid a kilometer away from the place, near the sewer. It was the safest place from the monsters' sense of smell.

Even though their wounds were bandaged and left no trace during the journey, they still struggled to control themselves. James and Zen didn't have enough preparation to deal with their wounds. They could only hide behind the stench of the sewer, in the dark, murky tunnel.

James was still daydreaming and his vision was blank. He just looked at the flowing murky water without saying anything. Zen herself looked out several times because she was anxiously waiting for Rico's help to arrive.
