CHAPTER 20- KILLER'S EYES

Gradually, my consciousness returns while both of my senses continue to ache due to the chemicals I sniffed earlier.

I can't see anything because of the blindfold. I can't move properly either because my hands are tied behind my back while sitting on a metal chair with an arm desk. The part I'm sitting on has foam padding. It's not new to me. This is the same chair they used for Kira, the only difference being that there's no rope around my neck.

I also feel the stiffness in my jaw because of the handkerchief stuffed in my mouth. Am I in the lair of killers? I mean, multiple killers.

I glance towards the direction where I hear a movement. I'm not alone in my current location. My heart leaps when I remember the man's last words.

Mother.

"Lynn."

I become alarmed once again. That's Mother's voice. It sounds weak. Earlier, I want to remove the blindfold, but now I don't want to. I know I wouldn't want to see my mother suffering when she has no idea why.
