Chapter 110: Going on a hunt [1]

A few minutes later, the door to the hotel room opened.

Seated a short distance away around a small table was Mrs. Hayes and Rita Bates. While the 2 CEOs of their company had a conversation inside, the secretary and manager of George’s Jungle Museum had a drink.

As soon as the door opened though, they stood up.

George and John already came out.

George stared at his secretary with a smile on his face. “Tell her that I accept her offer. About the location and time, tell her that I’m yet to make a decision but I will give her an answer before tomorrow evening”.

Nodding, Mrs. Hayes left but due to some unknown reason, Rita Bates stayed behind. Staring at John, she fidgeted.

“Umm, I want to have a talk with the boss alone”.

John’s face turned weird.

He stared at his best friend, then at the manager, then back at his best friend. With a smile on his face, he finally walked away.

He gave his best friend a thumbs up as he left.

George was baffled though, what did the manager want? Was this re
