“What should I do?” John asked.

Silence, George just stared blankly.

It was almost as if his brain just short-circuited but in reality, he was puzzled, asking questions in his mind. ‘Vanessa is here?’

‘What the heck is she doing here?’

‘Did she come here with Harley?’

‘Definitely not!’ He shook his head. ‘He’s in prison’.

Seeing the reaction of his best friend to the information that he just disseminated, John could not help but feel worried.

“George, please don’t think too much about it”.

“She didn’t come for you; she may have just come to observe your works after seeing your increasing fame on social media”.

George inclined his head to look at his friend, and he said nothing.

John felt even more worried. “After what happened to Gold Donald, Harley lost everything. Since then, Vanessa was left in the streets”.

“No inheritance, no money, no connections, just herself”.

“Since then, she’d be struggling,” John grabbed his best friend by the hand and looked into his eyes. “If V
