Cedric looked at the man in disbelief, “Three days sounds appropriate? For a boy who ran away for four years? You are suddenly going to gift him the throne like it's nothing?”

“Cedric, with all due respect, I ask that you watch the words you utter,” Lord Blane incepted.

“What wrong have I done by pointing out this obvious mistake?” Cedric huffed. “You want to crown a boy who runs away at the first sight of danger? His father, the Emperor, God bless his soul, passed away. What did your prince do? He ran away. What do you think will happen when we are faced with a war?”
