Once an individual had unlocked their beasts it was crucial that they needed to begin learning what specialization suited their beasts the most to achieve greatness. There were mainly two types of beasts, the Mage-type beasts and the Battle-type beasts. Mage-type beasts could use magical attacks to attack while Battle type beasts could only use physical attacks and boost the physical capabilities of the user. The crowd had cleared a space for Nate and Gecko to battle it out, they arranged themselves in a wide and round format, giving ample space for the two students to battle. On one end was Gecko, claws extending from his arms and green scales appearing all over his body, he had no weapon on him and it was clear he was ready to duel. On the other was Nate, with no special transformation, no weapon, and a cocky smile on his face, he had assumed a battle stance and it was becoming apparent that he knew a martial arts fighting technique. Nate had studied a little bit of martial arts back when he was younger, he knew he was weak and did that to try and make up for his weakness but he had long since stopped training after finding out that he could unlock a beast, he had hopes of unlocking a powerful beast so he saw no point in training.
