Seconds after Ragnar had defeated the first shadow beast, another one leaped out from the shadows, and soon another, followed by a swarm of shadow beasts. The second of distraction from Nate crashing into the ground and causing an Earthquake was enough for Emax to kill two more shadow knights. With each shadow knight he killed, the pressure on his body was slowly beginning to lessen and he was regaining control of his body naturally.
