Asher's beast was missing half it's body and the same with Asher but he was still fighting.

Ragnar had not given them a second to breathe, constant beatings had rained upon the beast, turning it into what it was now.

Ragnar raised his sword to completely obliterate Asher and his beast but inches before his attack would connect he collapsed to the ground, screaming in pain.

(There was something about Ragnar's ability, dark mana always and I repeat ALWAYS!! had a backlash, Ragnar's destruction came at a strange cost, whatever he destroyed he would feel half the pain that would be felt if the same was done to him.

This was why Ragnar's immortality ability went hand in hand with his destruction, it made sure that he didn't destroy himself from his ability.

But still his ability would heal him but the pain would not be healed and remain there, when the pain got too much he would be forced to
