Back at the cave where Nate, Ragnar, Skylar, And Emax were taking cover. Nate then proceeded to tell the others about the fight that had occurred that day. How they had run into trouble with the mages and for some reason they seemed to have Ragnar and planned to use him for some kind of strange sacrifice. Skylar and Emax were shocked to the bone that such a thing could go on during the competition. They thought they were all constantly being monitored by the outside world and that at the slightest sense of something odd, the masters would come to save them but they were wrong. Yes, they were constantly being monitored on the large holographic displays of the coliseum but the masters knew that students couldn't die here and they would just turn into golden dust and reappear in the coliseum. However, this didn't stop people from throwing weird looks at the master of the mage department, everyone wondered what she had instilled into her students to give them such a level of hatred.
