“Emax are you dead?” Sir. Oluwale asked with a slight tinge of worry in his voice

“Dey play. ” Emax said with a grunt, that fight had taken a lot out of him.

Emax's abilities work in a very strange way, whoever he touched as long as the person is not too powerful, he could copy their mana level and abilities.

Emax had copied the mana level and abilities of the shadow reaper, Skylar, and Ragnar.

With an increased mana level, Emax was allowed to be more powerful than the original user of the ability if he so pleased.

Emax had dumped all his mana energy into the shadow reaper's ability making him have a higher power level than the shadow reaper.

But despite this, the shadow reaper still overpowered Emax using his experience and other witty moves.

Emax had run out of mana and only had enough mana for one more revival if the shadow reaper had killed him so he felt his death was fast approaching.

Despite this, there was nothing Emax could do aside from praying to God and his prayers
