A New Begining

Inside the Earth’s space station…

A man with an eye patch was casually seated in the control center, boredom visible on his face. “I am sick and tired of this. I have been staring at this screen all day long, yet nothing is happening…”

Beep! Beep! Beep!

An alarm resounded loudly inside the space station.

The man with the eye patch jumped up from his seat. “What is it?” he inquired, moving towards the big screen. Several men wearing military uniforms could be seen typing away on multiple screens.

“Captain, I think something just trespassed our defense line,” one man said.

“What? But I see nothing,” the man with the eye patch responded.

“Sir, we think it is invisible,” another man with bald hair deduced.

A red light indicated a spot on the screen, signifying that something had just passed through the defense line.

“Make it visible,” the man ordered again.

“We have already tried, but the intruder seems to be preventing us from inside,” replied one of the soldiers in the control seat.
