Charles had become more convinced of the Adams family’s involvement in the abduction of his mother. He had hired a team of private investigators, and as they went deeper into the case, his determination grew stronger.

They gathered in Charles’ office at Oscorp, Charles leaning forward in his chair, a map of connections spread across the table.

“We need to get to the bottom of this, no matter what it takes,” Charles said, his voice tense. “I know for sure that they are not only responsible for my mother’s kidnapping, but they’ve been involved in numerous other crimes as well.”

The lead investigator nodded and glanced at his partner. “We’ll do whatever it takes, Mr. Griffins. But we need your permission to use any means necessary to probe the entire family. This could get messy.”

Charles clenched his jaw, his eyes reflecting his determination. “I don’t care how messy it gets. These people are dangerous, and they won’t stop until they’re brought to justice. Do whatever it takes.”
