Chapter Ninety-one
Charles knew he needed a plan to counter Andrew Garner’s attempts at him, if he wanted to weaken his stance first, to get back at the Adams family for partnering with Andrew to ruin him, and also because of everything they’d done to him and Norah. His new plan was to silently take over Adams Enterprises, all while hiding behind the shadows.

Charles had carefully planned his move. He’d set his sights on Adams Enterprises, and he was aware of the disagreement among the shareholders, a weakness he intended to exploit. He knew the opportunity he wanted would come through one of these shareholders, and so he began his mission.

His first target was a shareholder named Francis Edward, a man known for his frustration with the Adams family’s management of the company. Charles knew Francis was in possession of a considerable stake in the enterprise, making him a key player in his plan.
