When Hunter stepped down from the Gulfstream G650 he beckoned one of his workers over.

"Boss you called." The man hurried over.

"This here is my friend Peter Crox." Hunter introduced.

The worker gazed at Peter with his mouth open, "The new owner of every property in this city?"

"You got that right, more accurately as he's called by everyone, The city Lord."

The worker turned to Peter bowing his head lowly, "City Lord!" He called in a respectful greeting.

Peter was slightly taken aback before he waved his hand, "No need for all that. It's just an empty title."

Hunter laughed, "Of course it's more than an empty title, do you know that the fates of all the people in this city rests on you? One word from you could seal their fates forever. A man who owns a single building is called a landlord, one who owns a whole city is the lord over it all."
