Chapter 209

Wade felt something heavy crash into him, pushing him away from the fire breath the fire lizard had spat towards him. When he opened his eyes, he found Peter next to him.

"You...why did you help me?" He asked with shock and curiosity in his eyes.

"Why wouldn't I help you? We're a team." Peter said nonchalantly.

A flash of gratitude appeared in Wade's eyes before the feeling disappeared, he scoffed, "Hmph, who told you I can't help myself? I was just about to fight that lizard when you pushed me away."

Peter raised a brow, "Oh really? Why don't you kill the fire lizard so we can finish this challenge?"

Wade looked appalled, "Are you crazy? Even seniors from the Blue Dragon Academy won't be able to take down this lizard. I merely said I could fight and save myself, not kill it."

Peter shook his head and ignored Wade.

Diana, Gina and Dalia were currently distracting the lizard as it continued to pour fire breaths at them.

"Come on, they need help." Peter said but Wade made no movements
