Chapter Forty-Nine

"I already told you Peter, I'm not as good as I used to be." Walter muttered in a low voice with his eyes looking downcast.

Leo and Jason jumped out of their cars with a celebratory whoop they high-fived before setting their eyes on Walter's car.

Walter glanced at his car's interior hesitantly, "Since I have to give my automotive city to them too, perhaps this is the last time I'll get to sit in a nice sport's car."

Regardless, Walter shook his head and smiled bitterly, "Thank you for believing in me Peter, I guess now I've proven to myself that those guys are undefeatable and I'm not as good at racing as I had once thought."

"No need to look so guilty, it was my lack of abilities that caused this loss. I'll take my loss as a means to reflect and grow myself better in the future, I love racing, it's my passion, but I was never the best, and maybe, I never will be."

Saying that Walter stepped down from his car and began to approach the guys.
