Peter stepped out of the car without a word and began walking up the steps into the residential area.

Billy's father also followed along.

"Pete, though this money is a lot, it won't be enough for such a grand place. How about we drive back downtown and pick a more affordable living space." The man suggested.

Peter wasn't from this city, so he had probably mistaken the pricing of the Lakeview exclusive residences.

Houses here were stacked according to grades.

A grade one residence was priced at about ten million and above. And a grade ten residence could be priced at a few hundred thousands.

But regardless of that each house here was extremely pricy.

Having lost almost everything, the small family wouldn't be able to afford such a high standard of living, they'd much rather go back to a familiar place.
